This is an amazing home and Rick is a host that cares about you enjoying it, and South Tahoe, to the fullest. My family celebrated the 50th anniversary of my parents. We comfortably had 6 adults and 2 children with bed space still left available.
My family picked up a bunch of groceries and was able to make meals, complimented by grilling on the porch, and all sit together at the dining room table. Afterwards the kids could choose from running around outside picking up pine cones, play some of the games downstairs or choose to watch a movie from Rick's extensive collection of DVDs.
The location is perfect. The home feels up into the mountains above Tahoe and then only 10 minutes from a parking spot to enjoy the lake. A great contrast of beautiful scenery of two extremes.
All beds are comfortable, privacy is available but still with the feel of a family home and there was a bathroom for each member or couple. On that note, I have not seen a steam shower with two shower heads and so much room (handicap accessible). Luxurious feel, no doubt.
We had a small issue of a previous tenant messing around with connections within the entertainment section. I could not figure out where everything needed to be hooked up to and messaged Rick. Immediately he responded and had a very nice and helpful neighbor come over within minutes. This was an underline to the commitment Rick has to have you feeling like everything should be perfect.
There is not one complaint I can make. If you do not enjoy everything this home has to offer you are not a person that should be on AirBnB looking for your vacation. This is not a brand new home but rather with a feel of staying at a friend's house in South Tahoe (amazing spot)
Loved my trip, my folks were beside themselves with everything (dinner at Edgewood, 15 minutes away, helped that) and the kids never said I am bored - even with iPads still in their bags.
Thank you, Rick.
