Vous avoir près de nous fut un plaisir. Nous avons aujourd'hui même créé un salon confortable avec un grand canapé, une nouvelle table de style (4 & 6 personnes) avec ses 6 chaises en cuir de style moderne. Tout cela attend votre retour. Prenez soin de vous et du bébé à venir ce mois.

As criticism boosts improvement, we are pleased to get a negative feedback after so many months of straight extolling praise. The information about the Hibou flat being half the chalet had not mislead anybody before, still we acknowledge it could, Mr JOOST had a point, so we rewrote it. Mr JOOST also makes it a point of pride to always get a rebate, which he did not get, hence his wrath: “VERY DISAPPOINT-ING!” “Beatrice did not respond adequately” As he stated right away that the “adequate” answer was “money back”, we invited the family for a champagne get together party to loosen the tension. Mr JOOST grumbling was insistent at “money back” but he kept courteous for which we express gratefulness. About the specifics of the criticism: Hibou is a loft style flat. When corresponding before renting we encouraged him to rent the garden floor apartment. He chose the cheaper second floor. Dealing in the cheap is fine with us, nevertheless, about pricing we note that the 1 900 Euros Mr JOOST paid amount to 43,18 Euro/pers/night. The local “Gîte”, where Mr JOOST staid before, charges 25 Euro/pers/night in a 4 bed dormitory with access to collective bathroom & kitchen and none of our amenities so that it does not qualify for any star rating. Before Hibou windows is the limitless forest. The Belvédère “Gîte” has no balcony, but the main international road runs right by its foot. Our 5 ***** star rating is commended by the state after a thorough visit according to specific criteria. We have no responsibility in the process, but Mr JOOST’s subjective 3 *** rating prompts us to perform better. Thank him. Yes, the Jacuzzy had a problem, which was fixed the same day, a Sunday! For that Sunday we gave him free access to another Jacuzzi 15m away in the same garden: High class service oblige! Realistic critics: No direct access to garden/terrace. Exact: there is a flight of stairs to reach them, as could be expected for a second floor flat. Photos: Mr JOOST should rely on the AirBnB photos, not on private sites that were on the making and not intended for AirBnB business. A close look at the AirBnB site shows that Hideaway is a big 2 chalets, 4 flats + upscale amenities condo, giving vacationers a rich choice. Subjective appreciations: Apptmt was half (!) of what was advertised (text+photos) at time of booking, much smaller and lower rooms. Facts : flat 94,20m2 + balcony, free access to garden, Jacuzzi, swimming pool, sauna. Undocumented critics: Listing left out important information, misleading photos, missing amenities. Which ones? Could be cleaner: floors and carpet, bugs, kitchen. Pictures could have proved convincing. No stores in Argentière ? Facts: 1 super market, 1grocery, 3 bakeries, 1 press shop, 8 sport shops, 2 real estates, 1 pharmacy, 1 office of tourism, a post office open mornings only, hosts of coffees and restaurants. “Many flies” : a definite account of them would help us deciding on a gun or a machine gun to eliminate them. Wish him to sail happily through his future vacations elsewhere. Each chalet has two levels: garden level & first floor. Each floor has 2 ‘en suite’ bedrooms with four beds, a lounge/dining room, a kitchen. A1 & A2 are 94,20 m2 each. They rent separately. A1 has direct access to its terrace + to garden, Jacuzzi, swimming pool and sauna to share with the other guests. A2 is a loft 1,80m high in its middle with balcony and access to garden, Jacuzzi, swimming pool, sauna to share with the other guests. B1 & B2 are 106,21 m2. They rent together as a single unit, to which can be added a studio B3. B1 has direct access to its terrace + to garden, Jacuzzi, swimming pool and sauna to share with the other guests. B2 has a balcony and through a flight of stairs accesses garden, Jacuzzi, swimming pool, sauna to share with the other guests. To be specific there are 2 Jacuzzis, 1 swimming pool (7mx4m), 1 big sauna, 1 middle size garden, 3 barbeques + instant access to the open woods & ski in and out by gravity. Comment: Markus is right. We offer 3 appartments and a studio which are 2.20m ceiling to floor, plus one which is cheaper because it is a loft, 1.80m ceiling to floor. Concerning the wifi connection, the specialist we employ keeps it up shipshape, but it is incidentally also subjected to the whims of the storms. When we objected to Sir Weather, he refered us to God, then none of the two answered our offer of employment. How couild we sack people who are not on our payroll ?
