It is disappointing to receive such a negative review, but I would like to address every point the guest made. This is a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with a brand new swimming pool (built in August 2016, that is 7 months ago) and spa (purchased from Costco 5 months ago). These amenities are hardly outdated as they are considered new. All dishes, linens and towels have been updated in December 2016 before the busy season started (3 months prior). The dishwasher had been replaced 4 months ago. The price of $235 per night is hardly an overcharge compared to a single hotel room that costs more during the March events in CA desert. I use a professional cleaning service and have not had complains as far as cleanliness or upkeep of the house. They do a great job and I am proud of their professionalism.
During the guest's stay I did not hear or receive any indication of disapproval. I take my guests' comments very seriously and should there been any discomfort I would have sent someone to correct it immediately. If the guest was dissatisfied with how clean the house appeared upon their arrival I should have been notified and it could have been easily corrected, but again, I received no complains from this guest. I don't think this is a fair review. There are no specifics to the complaint.
