First of all, hosts were very quick to respond and answered every question I had about the property. I locked myself out one night, and the problem was sorted within an hour, so thanks to the hosts and the caretaker for that!
This is a nice villa with plenty of space in a quiet little area just outside of Playa Blanca. You probably want to rent a car for getting around, but Playa Blanca Taxi are on call. The photos are accurate.
The place is clean, as you'd expect from a new development. Everything seemed very well maintained and managed, especially the garden, which was very picturesque. The heated pool is a real nice touch also. There's a good selection of outside furniture (deck chairs, sun beds, dining table etc) and it was great that they have a BBQ also.
Interior wise, the two bedrooms are spacious and have ample wardrobe space. The two bathrooms are of high quality also - both with showers that don't mess around. The living area is roomy, and the big sliding doors lead straight on the couches on the terrace which means the whole place can breathe. The kitchen is well equipped, and the hosts very kindly left us a welcome pack that contained beer and other various.
My only real criticism is with the main bedroom - The big glass doors leading to the terrace are nice for getting air during the day, but they're not the sort of doors you'd leave open at night if you're conscious about security (the area is indeed very quiet, but the the villa terrace and garden are easily accessible from the two streets either side of it). You therefore have to have the doors closed at night, but that can make the main bedroom uncomfortably hot. This seems a bit of a design oversight, considering the second bedroom has a window you can open. Perhaps there needs to be a window installed, or an air conditioning unit. Also the hammock needs to be lowered, which unless you are a Giraffe, you will struggle to climb into.
Other than that, the villa is perfect in every way. 10/10, would rent again, thank you Raphael and Lorena.
