Le logement

This is a cozy and spacious sanctuary tucked away in over 2,000 acres of forest. Songbirds and wildlife abound. This is a unique experience if you are looking to get away from it all. There is no electricity and no wi-fi, so come to unplug and enjoy time in nature or with your loved ones, friends and family (if you choose to have them on, you are sort of in cel service). Comfy queen bed and kid sized mini bunks in the upstairs loft; full sized futon downstairs. There are also options with a single camping cot and double air mattress if you have a large group, tall children, or prefer to sleep outside on the deck. Deck is a great private spot to hang out and enjoy your surroundings on. There is also a campfire pit and hiking trails.

Ashley est tres accueillante et l'emplacement est magnifique. Belle cabane chaleureuse. Une fois qu'une douche soit organisee, ce sera plus convenable pour les enfants. Paisible et ressourcant (desole, j'ecris avec clavier anglais)

Great Fall getaway. My wife and two little ones (5 & 2) had a great time visiting the turkeys and chickens on the property and exploring the walking trails right outside our front door. It was nice to unplug for the weekend (there is no electricity) and the candlelight, campfire and wood stove were just what we need to feel cozy.

Ashley was very easy to communicate with, and the cabin was wonderful. The wood stove kept us toasty, and we used the campfire ring every night. We were able to cook on a propane stove and out on the grill. It's a super cozy, rustic cabin. We had a blast and would definitely rent again!

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming, magical cabin. The setting was gorgeous, and provided ample opportunity for our family of 5 (three small, active boys) to adventure and explore. The cabin was well kept, highly organized, and we loved the personal touches that made it such a unique and special place to call home for a few sweet days. I highly recommend this as a way to unplug and enjoy the good company of family and the natural world!

Everything was so wonderful. Ashley was great at making us feel welcome. The location and setting was exactly what we were looking for. I loved the home we stayed in and it had the right amount of seclusion so we weren't bothered and could feel secluded. We would book at this location again!

Perfect alternative to camping on a rainy day in Vermont! We were greeted with notes throughout the space to help us navigate proper use of the cabin. We love to cook and were thrilled to have a propane stove as an alternative to the wood stove and many pots, pans and utensils to use. All the candles and flashlights helped in the space and we loved being able to play card games until late!

Ashley is the greatest host!

I live in the woods of Vermont, creating a small homestead farm with Goats, Gardens, Maple Syrup, Honey Bees, Bunnies, Turkeys and Chickens. It's been my dream for a while now to settle and survive off the land, its an ongoing process for sure. Traveling has always been a part of my life, I have been to 47 of the 52 States. I prefer third world countries, beaches, and good snowstorms. I spent 10 years living in various parts of Northern California. As long as I am outdoors I am happy, and if all else fails, rollerskate! And one day soon I hope to host travelers looking to unplug and unwind in our off-grid guest house and mini cabin.
