We had a lovely weekend away staying at Valley Cottage. Joanne and her family were very friendly and made us feel welcome. The cottage has lots of character and is in a quiet rural location, but still only a short drive into Bury St Edmunds. We would love to stay here again sometime in the future!

Joanne was extremely friendly and we felt we were staying with a friend. We went out to dinner with the other guest and came back and all stayed up late talking and laughing. A most enjoyable stay in a country setting and good company.

We had a wonderful stay, thanks to Joannes way of letting us feel as if it really was our home. Beautiful cottage, marvelous breakfast, and a great view from the garden. Location is ideal for exploring the region. Train to Cambridge is a 10 minutes drive.

I am a friendly outgoing lady. I work in the media from home. I have 4 children, 3 of which have flown the nest which leaves my son Robin who is currently studying for his GCSE's . Among my favourite pursuits are reading, cooking for the people I care about , and keeping fit. I do body balance which is a mix of Tai chi. pilates and yoga and also spin at our local gym. I love being outdoors and enjoy exploring both the Suffolk and North Norfolk coast.
My son plays for Bury St Edmunds rugby club so not only do I turn out to cheer them on the sidelines I am also involved in their fund raising activities.
