The house has evolved over many years as we worked overseas we would upgrade it every summer spent here - it's a fairly arty home and we're about so it stays clean! Your attic is south facing, great view over tranquil gardens, soft chair and work-table with office chair, includes kettle with tea/coffee in room. Seperate toilet/bathroom also south facing with velux. Has storage and clothes-hangers under eaves.
Cooking using the microwave is fine but please avoid using the kitchen to listen to movies.
Please be mindful when using water which is on a meter thanks.
Smoking is OK on the patio outside.
Post keys through the letter box when leaving if we're not about thanks.

Travelled internationally with my family over the last 2 decades teaching Art to children and adults and travelling widely in the process; Brunei, Papua New Guinea, Greece, Malyasia, Oman, Saudi Arabia....get on really well with people from all backgrounds.
Love artistic adventures. Love cooking and eating my wife's food! She explores vegetarian cooking but eat any good food as good food is good food right? Love music. Love hearing about people's lives and their stories or reading a good book. Appreciate the quality of what something is worth not necessarily what it costs.
Favourite music includes Muse, Bonobo, Rodrigo-y-Gabriella - Mozart piano sonatas - chillout music - all music that stretches the talent and the imagination.
Love trying to improve playing classical/acoustic guitar by ear.
We have a house in the vibrant city of Leeds and on the edge of the Yorkshire Moors with an eclectic and multi-cultural mix of bars, clubs, restaurants and shopping, music, the 'Arcades', a Victorian market, Harvey Nics, the famous Headingley Cricket Ground for those test matches or simply using it as a base to travel up into Bronte country or go for walks around the area and wind-down.
As hosts my wife and I understand people may want their space entirely or to mix it up a little more. We are happy to go with the flow. We have a 3 storey house with a great en-suite attic room for rent on a nightly/weekly basis and a large double first floor room. It looks out over a tranquil garden / green space and Leeds sky-line beyond. The house is spacious with a lovely garden for summer BBQ's or just relaxing if the sun shows up.
My life motto would be to seize the moment. Life is made up of moments.
My inspiration is Schumacher's 'Small is beautiful'. Whatever yours is we'd love to see you here some time!
