Our house has an easy going and relaxed atmosphere but we do request that noise is kept to a minimum during evening hours. We also hope that guests will respect the furniture, and handle with care. Smoking is permitted on the deck. We unfortunately do not allow pets.

My husband and I stayed at Dani's place for two nights on vacation, it is a great area, very quiet and relaxing. The flat was very clean and beautifully decorated. The wifi was very fast, great TV and very comfy bed! The location was good, easy to get to the centre of Toronto with the 501 streetcar, also there were coffee shops and grocery shops within 5 minutes walk of Dani's place.

Great flat! with good check in/out communication. Location is amazing for the beach and main street (coffee shops and restaurants are only 5min walk). Living room is large and light with a large balcony for an early cup of coffee or an evening drink. Quite street and easy off-street parking at the back. Can strongly recommend the place to others and will be back for future stays in GTA.

Though we never got to meet Dani, communication was great and her son Jay, who lives in the upper floor suite, was very welcoming. Her house is located very close to the beaches, boardwalk, transit and shops… though far enough to be quiet at night. We had a one week stay and really enjoyed, thanks Dani and Jay.

Dani's place was better than I anticipated. I unreservedly recommend this gem of an apartment. In terms of communication - Dani was stellar: very responsive and kind. The neighbors were very considerate and friendly. This 2nd floor walk-up apartment was nicer than the photos/description reveals! Dani's place is literally a one-minute walk to the beautiful Balmy Beach; the Balmy Beach Club; plenty of green park spaces; awesome playgrounds; the Boardwalk or to public transit (the "501" route). Within a 5 minute walk you'll find a grocery store; a bank (mtl); Ed's ice cream shop; the family-owned Remarkable Bean coffee shop; the Organic Market (health food store); the iconic GOOF restaurant; the historic Fox Theatre; and (my fave boutique) Luberon; and more!!! Within a 10 minute walk is a beautiful ravine park, public library, shoppers drug store, liquor store, an olympic pool; veg/fruit markets; other banks and much, much more. Dani's apartment was spotlessly clean. The dining/living room is spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. Her little TV has all the channels you could want. Wireless access is included - and connection speed is fast. YAY! The kitchen was stocked with all of the utensils/appliances/cookware we could need. I LOVED using the gas stove. The bathroom was fresh and squeaky clean with full-size tub and nice flow shower head. Dani provided plenty of fluffy towels, soap, shampoo/conditioner, a hair drier, bath mat. Hot water was also plentiful (just let the tap run for a minute). The bedroom was cozy, quiet and the light-blocking window treatments made it super-dark (perfect in my books!). We had sound, uninterrupted sleeps there on the high-end (memory foam?) mattress and pillows were plentiful. Dani provided a duvet (which we didn't need to use because it was warm over Canada Day 150 weekend) & I noticed there were lighter weight blankets in the closet. There is plenty of storage space for you to unpack and store your suitcase! Dani has perfectly positioned the 2 fans in the apartment to maximize the airflow of the cool lake-breeze (cool air from across the surface of the lake toward the land at night) through the apartment to the (URL HIDDEN) I recommend you don't move them if you're staying in summer. The deck is fantastic! Dani provided a couple of lounge chairs so you can sit, chilllax and enjoy the cool and calm vibe of this very special street in this very special neighbourhood - with a view of Lake Ontario under the majestic oak forest that is the Beach. As a bonus, there is access to the laundry facilities downstairs and a parking spot available. Great value for the calibre of this apartment in this awesome neighbourhood in Toronto. Keep in mind that the Beach neighbourhood is about a 20 minute cab-ride (about 20-25 bucks) or 25 minute streetcar ride (3.25 I think) to downtown *with no traffic*. I think you'll appreciate the view of the CN tower from Balmy Beach.

Dani's place was a great find. It was indeed charming, quiet and private yet close enough to walk to the Balmy Beach board walk and to the Queens St. shops. This was my first time visiting Toronto and I really lucked out finding Dani's flat. She and her son Jay were very responsive to my inquiries. I enjoyed every moment of my stay. My only regret is not booking for a few extra days. The neighborhood and surrounding areas are great for walking and exploring. I will definitely be booking here again for future visits to Toronto.
