This cheerful pavilion apartment offers you all the best things for your stay – 100 metres to the beautiful beach with popular restaurants and bars, public transport, cycle and walking paths just around the corner, and a gorgeous private pool to come home to.
The nightly rate for the apartment covers one (1) queen-sized bedroom for up to 2 adult guests and the living area comfortably accommodates two people. If two singles are travelling together (or for a third person) an additional queen-sized bedroom can be made available for an extra nightly rate, payable at check-in. Please feel free to enquire as to the availability of the second bedroom.
We'll give you essential supplies to get you started (tea, coffee, milk, sugar, salt & pepper, cooking oil, guest soap and toilet paper). For your first morning we offer complimentary toast with jam and butter.
The kitchenette has a large refrigerator/freezer, microwave, 2-burner cooktop (no oven), toaster and kettle, crockery, cutlery and light cooking equipment. The living space has cosy dining and TV areas. There is one bathroom with shower, ceiling fans throughout, and lovely views to the pool.
The airy bedroom has a very comfortable queen-sized bed with good quality bed linen. Open up the French doors for cool breezes and direct access onto the shady deck and poolside area.

The apartment has independent access and is separated from our home by a large undercover timber deck. You can park your car securely off the street, have full access to our lovely 10 metre pool; use the BBQ and even watch TV in the comfy outdoors if you wish. Unlimited Wi-Fi is accessible from most areas. Laundry facilities are separate and can be available by arrangement.

We're friendly and are always pleased to chat with our guests, and certainly to assist if you need us during your stay. Generally though, between check-in and check-out, we like to give our guests personal space for the duration of their stay. That means you can count on having private use of the pool and outdoor area whenever you're at home.
Approximate ETA - as we do need to be home to check you in, and /or help with directions if needed, please message us a day or so before, when you know your approximate arrival time. Unless previously arranged, check-in should be between 2pm and 6pm.
Smoking is permitted but outside only
We (and our neighbours) are friendly and quiet-living people, and we do appreciate the same from our valued guests
Please leave sandy/muddy shoes or otherwise outside to protect the timber floors
The accommodation including pool and surrounding area is available only to paying guests. The area inside the pool fence is a glass-free space.
For the comfort of our future guests, all fish and seafood may only be prepared outside on the BBQ
Good care of the property is expected and as our cleaning fee is minimal, the apartment should be kept reasonably clean and tidy, with dishes washed and drained upon departure
Phil and I are friendly 50-somethings who traded Brisbane for gorgeous Hervey Bay and we're so glad we did because we love our wee spot here in paradise. We genuinely look forward to welcoming you to our home and making your stay easy and comfortable. For the past year or so we've been very busy building our lovely guest accommodation which is ready and waiting for you to enjoy. We're still sprucing up our wee beach house and establishing our green spaces. Travels so far have taken us to New Zealand, Italy, France, UK & Ireland, and lots of South East Asia. We have a dear old 39 foot yacht called 'Moondance' and Phil loves an opportunity to get her out onto the bay so if it interests you and the weather is right we're happy to discuss that option.
