Kim and Jerry Heist and their two daughters are delighted to welcome you to their classic, yet comfortable Bed and Breakfast in Bar Harbor, Maine. We are family-run, with a goal of helping visitors enjoy a relaxing, funfilled stay here in Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. As long-time island residents and former Acadia National Park naturalists, Kim and Jerry will share their knowledge of the park and provide tips about what to see and do on beautiful Mt. Desert Island. We've lived on the island for nearly twenty five years and raised our family here. We arrived here out of college to work in Acadia as park naturalists. Since then, Kim has been teaching school and Jerry has been a boat builder. Kim is continuing to teach and Jerry has happily transitioned to full time Innkeeper. We have two daughters who are helping in this new venture, one in college, and one who attends the local high school. You'll likely see them helping around the Inn.We look forward to meeting you and helping you make the most of your stay here in Beautiful "downeast" Maine.
