We will be here most of the time to help answer questions or give directions. Or we can remain mostly out of sight...
Our place is at the end of a 1 + mile gravel driveway. Four Wheel drive is highly recommended for the winter months. There are no services in Rice. Nearest grocery store or resturant is in either Kettle Falls or Colville -- about twenty miles from us. We have a TV and DVD/VHS player and a limited selection of DVDS, but no cable or network TV. Some Cell Phone Carriers do not have a signal at our location.
Smoking Allowed on Outdoor Porches. Please, no pets, as we have our own, in addition to us raising livestock.
Si vous annulez jusqu'à 24 heures avant le voyage, vous recevez un remboursement intégral, frais de service compris.
I am a retired Chemist-Programmer, now mostly doing professional wood-working and projects around our Ranch with my wife. Rori likes to quilt, reads pretty much a book a day, and has kept goats for over 20 years. Together, we enjoy dancing (swing & country) and travel, especially to Mexico and other Latin American countries. We relocated to Rice Washington after 25 years in Alaska, also having had a small farm up there. I’m also an EMT and Firefighter in our local Volunteer Fire Department (Stevens County FPD #12) , doing both fire and EMS calls in our district. Rori is also active in various other Volunteer organizations around our small community. We enjoy meeting new people and cooking for our neighbors.
