The farmhouse was built in 1917, as a chicken farm. Two barns from that era still remain on the property. The house was extensively remodeled and expanded in 2006, to provide porches, a great room, a master suite, and a very modern and functional chef's kitchen. The rock swimming pool was added in 2009. The property sits on 13 acres, offering a 20 tree apple orchard, meadows, and forest. There is minimal road traffic, adding to the seclusion. It is a very special place. No one ever wants to leave!
Accès des voyageurs
Guests have access to all parts of the house with the exception of a locked section of the basement. Guests should not attempt to enter the outbuildings, due to internal structural issues.

Cochecton Township is comprised of the neighborhoods of Fosterdale, Lake Huntington, Cochecton, and Cochecton Center. There is no real town of Cochecton, adding to the seclusion of the area. The nearest concentrations of civilization are the river towns of Callicoon and Narrowsburg, which are each 7 miles, North and South respectively. The property is only 9 miles west of the original 1969 Woodstock Music Festival, which is now the home of Bethel Woods Performing Arts Center and the Woodstock Museum.

Originally from Texas, I am a Wall Street executive turned actor. I have owned my farmhouse for 18 years and spent that time gradually modernizing it, while leaving the original Arts & Crafts detail in place. I have traveled throughout the globe, but without a doubt, it is my favorite destination!
