Andres's place is exactly as you see in the pictures. It is small, but an okay size for two people. The wifi worked great! We frequently uploaded large files online and it didn't take too long. Our check-in wasn't very smooth, Andres was out of town and his partner didn't arrive for some time. After a long travel, we had to wait outside of the secured apartment for about 20-25 minutes until we were allowed inside. The security guards were friendly enough, however, and called taxis for us as we needed throughout our stay.
We stayed 17 days and had an overall good experience. Although the apartment was very clean, the first week was tough because we only had 1 towel, 1 role of toilet paper, very little hand soap, and no clean blanket. We also couldn't figure out what was wrong with the hot water, so our showers were freezing. We reached out to Andres multiple times, but it was difficult to get in touch with him. Once we got in contact with Andres, things went a little more smooth. He brought us a large container of hand soap, two towels, and a clean blanket (although it was pretty small for two people to share). He also showed us how to keep the water hot, so our showers were more pleasant.
The neighborhood was quiet and the market downstairs was great to pick-up a few food items during our stay. We also used the apartment's laundry service and had a good experience. It was about 10, 000 COP ($3.34) to wash a load (not including the price of soap), and they ironed our jeans for us too!
Overall, our stay at Andres's was good. I'd recommend it for the value and cleanliness. It wasn't too far from the touristy areas either. We frequently took the metro (2,300 COP one way) in the day, and a cab ((PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) COP) back in the evening.
