My husband and I lived in New York for a very long time, we moved to LA and live in this beautiful 1920's home. We are both from Europe, my husband is from Italy and I am Chinese-Indonesian born and raised in Germany. I'm a Fine Art Photographer, own an online Boutique and I'm currently collaborating on creating our own Clothing Collection. I like to travel, explore places, cultures and cuisines. My husband is a furniture designer, he mainly works with metal and wood and makes small furniture and decorative objects.
My favorite travel destinations are Bali, Rome, Paris and my hometown Cologne. My favorite authors are Rainer Maria Rilke, Jean Paul Sartre, Herman Hesse and Franz Kafka. I do have an affinity for existential writers. A few of my favorite movies are Gegen die Wand, Irreversible, The beat that my heart skipped and Ali fear eats the soul. The things I find difficult to be without are Bread, Cheese and Coldcuts, Noodles, Yunnanese cured meats and tripe. I love Babi Guling a Balinese speciality and Rujak Cingur-an Indonesian dish from the island of Java.
I consider myself friendly, approachable, clean and organized. You can easily reach out to me with questions. When I travel places to work on a project, I am focused, I plan ahead and organize myself with a timeframe in mind. If it's for leisure, I'm a bit more relaxed about my schedule and enjoy my time off wandering and exploring. Both my husband and I like to interact with our guests, but we also like to give each guest their space and privacy. Above all we enjoy meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds.
