Experience the incredible outdoor recreation of Fayetteville in this recently renovated 2br/1ba cottage located near the heart of town. This house is a great basecamp for all the outdoor activities you can do near Fayetteville as well as a fun place to explore the historical area from.

Within a few mintues of town there is superb hiking, mountain biking, rafting, and rock climbing. There is also great fishing nearby.

The Kaymoor mine is a few minutes outside of town and is easy to navigate to the site You can continue to the bottom of the gorge on an additional staircase of 800(?) steps!

If you have some extra time, take a drive down to Nuttallburg Mine. You can hike from the rim down to the actual mine (1 mile?), or drive further 30 minutes to the site where coal was offloaded at the bottom of the gorge.

Other areas of interest include Carnifex Ferry (Civil War Battleground), Gauley Bridge, Summersville Lake, Hawk's Nest Dam and much more.

All except for the back workroom which is currently locked. Laundry is in the basement. Full kitchen!

We are a block or two from downtown, including the wondeful outdoor gear shop Waterstone. Downtown is really cute, and features a town clock similar to the one (smaller scale) in the movie Back to the Future.

We are also only 5 minutes drive from hiking trails and rock climbing areas that stretch miles and miles over and around the New River Gorge. If you don't want to get in the car and drive across the bridge, you can also walk behind the house 5 minutes to the Fayetteville Huse Park and Mausoleum and start hiking miles of trails from right there!

Go to the NPS Visitor Center for awesome info on the area. Take a right on Keller, a right across the bridge, then your first right. The visitor center is about 5 minutes from our place. Or go for a hike behind the house at the Fayetteville Town Park, which is 3 blocks up the hill from the house!

Kaymoor Mine area is another great spot to go to that is about 10 minutes from town. There is great mountain biking near the Kaymoor Top trailhead.

Walmart and many fast food places are a few minutes towards Beckley on Whitewater Drive.

Walk up the street a few blocks for Secret Sandwich Society, Cajun food or Pies and Pints, as well as coffee joint/breakfast spots. Walk down the street a few blocks for Dirty Ernies Rib Pit (3 seasons) or Maggie's Pub.

As advertised - great little place in a perfect location that's incredibly quiet.. Amazing kitchen for those who want to cook and only a short walk to a few different restaurants. There's even a nicely stocked library.

This location was very affordable, clean, cute, and well situated. We were in Fayetteville for a rock climbing trip and the house is mere minutes from all the local crags. The house had all of the amenities we needed; all we had to do was buy groceries. Not every AirBnB host has such a well equipped kitchen. Kimberly even kept extra toiletries in the bathroom in case we forgot anything. Five stars all across the board.

Would love to come back! A great base camp for outdoor activities in the area. Close to shops and restaurants in town. The kitchen is what sold our group on this place! Beds were comfy too. Thanks Kimberly!

Kimberly is excellent! Very easy to communicate with and very helpful. The house is on a quiet street not far downtown. We were able to walk to some of the spots. The house was clean when we arrived. Very welcoming. We didn't use the kitchen, but it was very nice. I'd highly recommend staying here. Plus, Fayetteville was a lot of fun!

Kimberly's place was great! I'm hesitant to say too many positive things because I'd love for the house to be available whenever we're headed down to Fayetteville! We thoroughly enjoyed the great kitchen and having a very comfortable place to stay rather than camping. It's a great location and Kimberly was so responsive to any and all communication.
