Marco was a great host. He was diligent responding to my questions, and even came out to the loft at the drop of the hat to help me with an issue. Though the neighborhood isn't great, the building itself is upscale, and the loft is spacious and clean. It's a great place for an ex…

Marco is the ideal host: Extremely responsive, clearly cares that any questions/concerns are addressed immediately, keeps his place in immaculate condition, and is an all-around good guy. I stayed a bit over 3 months for work, and I loved it here! The building is spotless and wel…

Marco was a great host. His communication is impeccable, and is always there if you ever need anything. His place was beautiful and looked even better in person than it did in the photos! He was there upon arrival to greet me and show me around the area. And was there for my …

I departed the East Coast for a 5-week stint in LA. 5 weeks is a long time to commit to staying in a place, sight unseen. What if the bed was horribly uncomfortable, the water pressure completely non-existent, etc. etc. You don't always know what you're going to get w/AirBnB. …

Thanks Tricia. Glad you enjoyed your stay. However I take great issue with you saying, "It's just not an area where I would recommend venturing out on foot." I rarely drive when I'm staying at the loft, aside from grocery shopping at Whole Foods/Ralphs or a Target run, because other wise I ALWAYS walk, just not south on San Pedro St. (the one exception being the Downtown Women's Center Cafe, literally the next building south of mine on San Pedro) because that IS toward skid row, as I mention in my area guide and also was mentioned in a prior guest review. When going to Little Tokyo, or over to the Arts District, or the Historic core, walking is the norm and that's why I and my guests prefer being downtown. Walk north on San Pedro, then east (towards the Arts District) or west (Historic Core, Bunker Hill, etc). on 3rd street, or continue to 2nd and 1st to Little Tokyo. Venturing out on foot is the reason I bought the place. That's not just my opinion, but also ALL previous guests. The homelessness problem in Los Angeles is tragic, unprecedented, and nearly unavoidable. However, you may enjoy a less urban neighborhood for your future visits to L.A. It's the second largest city in the country and there are plenty of other less populated parts where you can walk for miles and not see a soul, all within city limits.

I was staying in town for work this summer and needed a comfortable place to stay for about a month and Marco's place turned out to be perfect. I wasn't able to meet Marco, as we were on opposite schedules, but he made sure his neighbor, Cameron, was there to give me the tour so…

Marco and his place were amazing. Had an amazing stay and it is a very quiet, secure building in walking distance to pretty much everything in Little Tokyo area. ..Recommended.

I work in film/tv post production. I love to surf and though I work in LA, I also have a place in north county San Diego. When I'm not traveling or working I regularly see live bands, shows, performances, and try new restaurants. I can be at home in a hut on the sand or in a b…
