Sunny, moments away from the cliffs and full of character home spans across two floors perfect for sea-side getaways. Moments away form the famous White Cliffs of Dover for hikes and walks by the sea and the bustle of Folkestone Harbor with its new fine dining and water fountains.

We do not offer this accommodation as premium property but more as a spacious comfortable space at low cost. Clean, with basic utensils and fresh bedding, towels, wifi and comforts are provided for those on a budget.

Seafront restaurants serve freshly caught fish boasting small independent fisheries along with three posh-nosh three brand new restaurants including Rocksalt and the best fish and chips in Kent.

Further West takes you on the most incredible seashore walks toward elegant Sandgate and Sandgate Castle. The pedestrian road spans miles so perfect for rollerblading or biking as far as the eye can see...

This close to the sea you are only 52 minutes on the train to the heart of London and a boat ride to France.

The house compromises of spacious dining room and private terrace, modern kitchen and two spacious bedrooms with large sunny windows. This lovely period house is embellished with Bacchus, the Greek God of Wine on the front facade paying tribute to its tavern & coach-house heritage.

Two bedrooms are located on ground floor.

The property is furnished and comes with cooking utensils in the kitchen, washing machine, cupboards/storage units throughout.

Not recommended with families with very small children due to wood staircases to the living room in the lower-ground level.

About Folkestone

Originally a small fishing village, Folkestone developed during the 17th century into a much bigger town able to protect the coast from wars and invasions from the Continent. At the beginning of the 1800's the town included a harbour and, with the railways in 1843, it's seaside resorts became a fashionable tourist destination shaping the town's prosperity.

The town features many activities, such as indoor winter sports, walking by the sea or in its award winning Coastal Park, shopping, sightseeing. Over the last years lots of regeneration has been taking place like the new Creative Quarter, a part of the old town transformed into an artists area full of quirky cafes, galleries and boutiques gorgeous restaurants.

Folkestone has always been a busy transit town for people travelling to France, with the Channel Tunnel the town has got very good connections to the continent. High speed services reach Ashford International and Ebbsfleet and the journey time to London is around 52 minutes. Even by car, Folkestone is located at the end of the M20 and on the A20, Ashford, Maidstone, Canterbury, Dover and London are accessible.

Two bedrooms and full flat. The property is a whole house with another flat on 1st and 2nd floors. The upstairs flat is also available for rental.

We advise all our guests that due to the listed building, the staircase between floors can be deemed as steep so please be ware of accessibility.

We ask all our guests to respect our upstairs neighbours.

The property is an old Georgian building with its charms but has elements which show its age.

Very little or as much as necessary.
