In historic Summerville within one mile of shops and restaurants and a 25 mile drive to downtown Charleston. Forty to 55 minute drive to beaches. Fully yet simply furnished. Wifi. Off-street (not paved) parking. The cottage is very small--approximately 350 square feet.
While positioned very close to the main house, the door opens to it's own private outside area. It was originally only one room. We added a step down into a bedroom and carved out space for a small kitchen in one corner and added the small bathroom in the other corner. The sofa bed is a full (double), not queen.

We are happy to be as involved in your stay as you want us to be. We work at our law office a mile away so we are almost always close by.
We do have two barky dogs on our property. They do not have access to the cottage, however.
The cottage sits very close to a main road. It has a lot of traffic on it which can be noisy. Also noisy is the train one block away. Some people enjoy the train and some do not but I like to mention it. Generally the white noise of the dehumidifier or AC drowns out the road and train noise but sitting outside, unless on a Sunday, is not as quiet as we wish.
Currently there is no laundry service on the property but laundromats are just over 4 miles away.
No smoking or pets or overnight visitors. Do not pet the dogs.
Our large family has lived in Summerville and this house for nearly twenty years. We enjoy our children, church and community. Brandt is a local attorney and part time magistrate. We enjoy traveling, gardening, being active, drinking tea with friends and hosting fun parties.
