I am sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. I did apologise for opening your mail in error; this was however partially because you gave me a different name to the one you had booked the room under and I thought it was a former tenant. I did meet up with you to apologise for this.
As for the room being cleaned, there had been an error where the cleaner had been asked by the previous tenant not to clean their bedroom and bathroom. However as soon as you pointed this out to me, I spoke to her about this issue and your room and bathroom were then cleaned twice. It would have been dealt with earlier if you'd raised it earlier.
I was always available to speak to if you had an issue that concerned you. However, you worked long hours so we rarely met up. You merely had to knock on my door or even phone me if you had a question.
I can't help but feel that your negative feedback has to do with three things, however. Firstly that despite my clearly pointing out in my house rules check out time being 8 am on the last day (now amended to 10 am). You asked to leave at 10 pm on the final day, which I refused as I had someone moving in a day later.
Secondly, you left in a hurry, leaving food in the bedroom, broken glass and generally in a poor state including broken glass. Thirdly that I asked you to pay for replacement keys for the ones you lost. (Fortunately, I found them in the lounge so there was no charge)
I am however puzzled by your suggestion that I clean the carpets more often? As anyone inspecting the photos of the flat on the site will see, I have wooden floors throughout. So I am not sure which carpets you are speaking of? I hope this isn't reflective of your feedback in general, the building itself is cleaned by the owners once a week so is clean and in good condition.
Again I am sorry your stay was not enjoyable as you would have liked it, but I wish you all the best for the rest of your stay.
