The home was great and fit a group of guys nicely. The location is perfect. It is tucked away from the busy roads but the perfect distance to all the fun and excitement of Traverse City. I would certainly stay again in the future!

This was a great stay. Lots of space, not too far from downtown TC. I would avoid taking taxis at all costs! Super expensive for the 4-5 minute drive.

Willow was very communicative before our stay and made the check-in process easy. It's a really quiet neighborhood and we got some of the best sleep of our lives. The house is really spacious and the ping pong table in the basement was a great indoor activity.

Great house for a group. We were there on business but it would be a good place for a family on vacation too. The only think I suggest is noting that the address on the mailbox is not for the actual house. We were wandering around the house across the street looking for the lock box before figuring out that the mailbox was on one side and the house on the other.

This space had several key pros and cons that truly test whether or not a renter would return after their first time. I will begin with a list of pros, segue into cons and end with an overall conclusion on the space. The house certainly had an open floor plan in the areas you'd hope to see (kitchen, living room, dining room, exit to backyard). The bedroom space was adequate for anyone staying overnight or for seven days. Both the front and backyard spaces were ample, and offered much in the way of playing for little ones (swing, corn hole). The neighborhood was very quiet, which made staying with infants/toddlers a lot less nerve-racking. The kitchen appliances performed well. The laundry facilities were great, and aided us immensely. The basement was fantastic, and offered much in the way of play things for kids as well as a ping pong table for the adults. The hosts were very open in their communication lines, and Eric even came over to blow up a pool via air compressor. Although disclaimed in the listing, the lack of air conditioning was a big disappointment. More often than not, we had inside temperatures of 79-81 degrees. If you are content with sweating your behind off from dawn to dusk, then this will not impact your feelings on staying. The space being pet-friendly resulted in pet dander/hair covering the area rug in the living room, and throughout the main floor of the house. While a sign clearly indicated pets were not allowed to enter the basement, the room certainly had an odor of previous presence of furry friends. We also encountered a few spaces in the backyard featuring dog fecal matter. There were ant hills everywhere, from the driveway and sidewalks to the front and backyard. We all suffered bites on our feet as a result of this. While understandable on the outside, it was disappointing to repeatedly find ants in the main living room, under the area rug. Although a press coffeemaker is something enjoyed by several, many prefer the convenience of either a Keurig or standard 12 cup maker. Similarly, one appreciates the ease of a charcoal/propane grill as opposed to a tripod grill. A tripod grill works if enough fire-ready wood and kindling is available to those attempting to use. Unfortunately, the rain we experienced and lack of kindling did not allow for effective usage of this amenity. Finally, an investment in a Roku for either the main living room or basement should be considered, as it is immensely more user-friendly than Apple TV (I say this as a fan of Apple products). Overall, the price of this stay for 7 days was fair. On paper, the layout of the house is fantastic, the amount of toys provided for little ones is over-the-top, the size of the space is ample and the finished basement is awesome. However, the concentration of bugs and overall cleanliness of the living room, detriments of having a 'pet-friendly' space...

Hi all~

Well, I've lived in Traverse City since 2000 and it is truly a fantastic community. I've owned this house being listed since 2007 and it is your standard colonial home. Charming, a little creaky with a great location!

I hope you enjoy your visit and if there is anything I can do for you please don't hesitate in asking!

My best,
