Cha and Ed are a wonderful young couple, living at an unconventional home right in the centre of Brussels, a well reformed old beer storage place. I was there for a week of work at Place Rogier, and their loft was a perfect place for me. Cha and Ed had put a lot of time and effort preparing the flat for my reservation: everything was perfect to the smallest detail, the flat was meticulously clean and comfortable and they had even some beer and breakfast stuff for me in the kitchen.
Their flat is indeed a great option for a couple (there is one bedroom very cleverly integrated in the living space, as it can be seen in the photos) to explore Brussels. It is also very quiet, as it does not have direct view to the street, and in a peaceful neighborhood – I had stayed in the area several times in the past and it has always seemed to me a good and safe place. If someone plans to pass several hours a day in the flat, Cha and Ed have no TV, but plenty of books to read (mostly in French) and a good sound system for music/radio listening. Moreover, Cha and Ed have very professionally prepared a set of instructions on what to do and see in the city that would make the stay of their guests more comfortable.
Thank you both for leaving your home for a week to let me stay in it and, once more, please excuse my clumsiness with your coffee machine! I hope you will find a filter replacement soon so you won´t have to remember of me every time you cannot have a good cup of coffee in the morning!
