Maison 36 has three en suite bedrooms. All have air conditioning as well as ceiling fans. The bathrooms are modern, main bathroom also with bath and bidet.
On the upstairs level is a large, beautiful balcony with a spectacular view over the marina and all the luxury yachts moored there.
Open plan dining room, lounge and modern kitchen all flow out onto the veranda with an eight seater table.
The private plunge pool is just off the veranda.
There is a private jetty right in front of the house - perfect for sundowners and spectacular sunsets are guaranteed!
We have many amazing sightings from our jetty - the kids even started naming the Spotted Eagle Rays that come to visit every day! Green turtles, Scorpion fish, Parrot fish, colourful crabs and many more beautiful sea creatures are spotted on a regular basis from the jetty.

You will be renting the entire maison with all spaces available to you.

You will be met by Eden Island Luxury Accommodation staff, who will get you settled in. ASD is our home management company and will be your direct contact during your stay for anything you might need. You will be introduced to all relevant parties prior to arrival.

Eden Island is a beautiful marina development set to the east of Mahe only minutes away from the capital of Victoria and 10 minutes from the main international airport. It is connected by bridge to Mahe. Eden Island boasts four beaches, beautiful snorkeling sites with spectacular corals, a modern and staffed gym, two communal swimming pools, a club house, fabulous restaurants and a shopping mall with a Spar supermarket for all your self-catering needs. The Spar also sells a wide range of international wines. As a Maison 36 guest you will have access to the ISPC - largest importer of the most incredible food and wines from around the globe. Proximity of the Mahe International Airport, the capital Victoria, world famous beaches and a wide range of restaurants serving anything from Creole food to the freshest catch of the day, all contribute to make this a very enviable location. The very friendly and helpful staff at the Call Centre, VMA (Village Management Association) on Eden Island provide a concierge service and is available to assist you with all enquiries, bookings, advice etc. Magnificent snorkeling/diving sites with live coral are within walking distance or short golf cart ride from the maison. Home to super-yachts, leisure craft and private boats from across the globe, the Eden Island Marina is one of only a handful island marinas deep enough to harbour luxury yachts up to 100 meters in length – entering the marina right in front of our veranda!
Safe snorkeling is also possible just off the beaches on Eden Island - walking distance away. A magical island that you won't want to leave!

From the Airport: Easiest is to take a taxi to Eden Island (always available at the airport, no need to book ) - it is a 10min ride and should cost around SR450 ( might vary some due to number of passengers/bags etc).
Mahe is only 27 km top to bottom. Most tourists hire a car though as the buses are somewhat unreliable and you could end up spending a lot of your precious holiday time waiting for a bus. The roads are narrow with no barriers and the bus trips will be nerve-racking in most instances!

On Eden Island traveling is done by EPV / golf cart - included in the rental.
If you have small children: the ocean is only a few meters away and the pool is not covered, so please take special note if your little ones cannot swim.

Eden Island is a haven of tropical gardens, white sandy beaches, warm water, exquisite snorkeling, no traffic (other than golf carts), but with all the conveniences to ensure a hassle free holiday - a small but excellent shopping mall, restaurants, gym, tennis courts and security on your doorstep. Eden Island is connected by bridge to Mahé, just a 10 min drive from the international airport and a 5 min drive to the quaint capital Victoria where authentic Seychellois life is around every corner.

We are a family of three, living in Stellenbosch, wine capital of South Africa. Hougaard is a financial advisor, Irené is the CEO of a charity called The Santa Shoebox Project (Website hidden by Airbnb) and Minette is our delightful 19 year old, well travelled and well behaved daughter. The maison on Eden Island and the apartment in Hermanus are holiday homes and our favourite places on earth! Pendant votre séjour

You will be met by a member of ASD Property Management, who will get you settled in. If you arrive between midday on a Saturday and Sunday evening, you will be escorted to the maison by Eden Island Security personnel and ASD will visit you on Monday morning. A cleaning service once per week for stays longer than 7 days is included. If your stay is shorter than 7 days or if you need additional cleaning service you are welcome to arrange with ASD directly and for your own account. You can also contact ASD beforehand to buy you some essentials and you can settle with them directly upon your arrival. Contact details will be provided once your booking has been confirmed.
