A beautifully private location where no neighbours can be seen or heard on most parts of the property, accessible by dirt road only. We recommend an SUV or 4WD however many small cars are fine, at a slower pace.

A green area all year round, 10 acres are cleared and mowed regularly, with 50 acres of bush land that extends almost 1klm from the front boundary to the rear, with stunning views of Lake Wyaralong at very rear.

Perfect for bird watching, regular visits from Kangaroos and Wallabies and occasionally a flock of cows/horses.

It is NOT a fully fenced land area, so please ensure your food is kept secure and keep an eye on your pets if you bring them out.

Amenities include;

- Outdoor plumbed in toilet at side of shed for use
- BBQ but a gas bottle is required,
- Kitchen sink with running tank water and some cleaning products
- No power, generators welcomed
- Use of tables and chairs under annex

Access via a dirt road with a secure gated entrance, a key code will be emailed to you upon booking in to gain entry. Again, it is suggested to drive a SUV or 4WD as preferred vehicle, smaller cars will not have troubles accessing, but should be cautious on the drive.

Generally speaking, I will be available to open the gates for initial access. It is requested that upon leaving, the front gate is securely locked with the chain/lock provided.

The access road to the property is all dirt, housing largely owner occupier land holders and some farmers. The nearest neighbour is over 500m away.

Access is only by car or motorbike.

There are numerous locations to visit while in the area, including Lake Wyaralong, Boonah, Beaudesert or simply enjoy a bush walk with the family on the property.

- Phone reception is dependant on the carrier. Telstra usually works, Optus & Vodafone on occasion
- There is no access to inside the barn shed, use of the large awning and tank water is welcomed
- Firewood can be collected from numerous places on the property for burning in the fire pit only, no bonfires for risk of bush fire.
- Nearest shops are 30 minutes drive (IGA/Bottle store at Flagstone)
- Nearest town is Jimboomba (35 mins drive) which houses a Woolworths/Coles, fuel stations and all other amenities
- This is Australian bush land. You may encounter snakes, spiders, toads, farm animals and other insects. Please be mindful at all times of your surroundings and bring the appropriate protection as you feel necessary

We all only went for one night. Beautiful setting! Loved that firewood and gas were provided! DO NOT USE GPS. My friends took 6 hours to get there because of gps maps - led them to a random gate with dangerous roads, so they missed most of my birthday. Probably don't take a small car if you care about your car - my friends regretted not taking a 4-wheel drive, wild pig creek road is a bit too much if you're not an extremely confident driver in a small car - like a suzuki swift or Mazda. It would have been so awesome if they just found the place like we did in 1.5 hours - such a peaceful, secluded place.

So sorry to hear that Julietta! As your stay was directly after the Cyclone Debbie flooding, I had personally inspected the property and road access and provided clear directions to the property on that basis, especially to be careful on the road and driveway. It is definitely best to take a 4WD in most instances.

Great for what we wanted which was privacy. Lovely spot, no noise and luckily we had great weather. Creek was running after recent rain and was nice for a swim. If you are towing anything larger than 18 foot you may struggle as access is tight across the concrete creek crossing. All and all great stay and lovely spot.

What a terrific spot. Not too far from the Gold Coast and Brisbane to make it an epic journey, and you can be setup having a cold drink within 2 hours of home. Lovely green cleared area, and the annex is a great bonus. Plenty of flat camping areas, but they are away from the shed/annex and therefor the toilet, and flat areas are limited around that area. It depends if you want the full bush camp experience, or have some great ammenities like we did. There was little to no water in the creek when we stayed in early March, and if the tank is not full of water, you need to bring a lot to cover the toilet flush usage. Always check with Sam beforehand on exactly what the water situation is like, as trundling containers up from the creek would be tiresome. Plenty of firewood within 50m of the allocated firepit area, so that was really great too. Flies were a small issue, with cattle on the property, but just be prepared and you won't have issues. The road in is merely corrugated in parts, and a normal car really is fine driven slowly for the last 11KM. A picturesque spot, within easy reach, and lovely to get away from the maddening crowd. Fantastic, quiet spot, full of wildlife, excellent stargazing, brilliant fire pit and the patio saved our lives on a very hot summer day. Having a flushing loo when camping is a pure luxury so we thoroughly appreciated that. If you're looking for somewhere close to Brisbane to get away to for a day or two, to have a quiet, relaxing time, this is the place. Don't forget to bring lights though, it's pretty dark without them. Thanks Sam. We'll be back for sure. We had a wonderful weekend.

This spot was stunning, our group had a great time kicking back and enjoying the privacy that a lot of campsites can't offer. 10/10 would stay again

Awesome property. We had the best time. Better than the pictures looked :) There wasn't any water on the property or much in the creeks but Sam gave us the heads up so we bought supplies with us. Will be back.
