Description

Sharing with you, the last of the Mid-century Ranches of Moab. A King suite and 2 queen bedrooms, & 2B, includes continental-plus breakfast. Operated by local bike-fitter, mechanic, rehab and nutrition coach, intent on making your stay exceptional.

A Biker's Bed and Breakfast, for all. Our location places you 2 miles south of Moab on the Flat Pass Loop, and just across the 4-laner from the new Pipe Dream Trail and Hidden Valley Trailhead.
2 Queen rooms available with room for additional queen air bed in one, sharing a double bath. King size master bedroom has attached shower and other restroom facilities. You are reserving 3 bedrooms in a 4 bedroom house. Up to 3 couples plus, or 2 singles, willing to share rooms and baths, could be accommodated at one time. The 4th bedroom is occupied by your hosts in a true B&B style accommodation.
Styled after the needs of active folks, extra-firm mattresses, hot high-pressured showers, high-thread count cotton sheets, functionality over fashion, and fresh ground dark roast brewed every morning. Half & half, yogurt and rice and coconut milk always stocked (please request cow's milk and % milk-fat if preferred). Eat a continental-plus breakfast while your bike is looked after, suspension set-up, and lubed for the days adventure. Your host is a Bike Fit Professional and Pro Mechanic.
Bicycle tune-ups can be completed here, and we can teach you the art of bicycle maintenance and repairs as well. We can prep your bike for a ride-day or Race, and even guide you in setting up your shuttle rigs or car packing. Bike shuttle service offered to and from trailheads (for up to 7 bikes), or a drop-off for whatever your rig will hold, for a small fee.
If more technical services are required, we can build you custom insoles (for hiking/walking shoes too), fit cleats and seats, adjust body position for comfort, more power and efficiency, and less wear-and-tear or fatigue.
Dogs may be allowed, but never on the furniture. One super friendly food motivated dog on-site, but please don't feed.
Please see my additional listings for more reviews.

Complimentary laundry, clothesline, and small refrigerator located at rear entrance. Stove use needs to be discussed prior to booking, sorry.

We strive to answer any questions regarding the best sights, restaurants, and bike/hiking trails, the rest is up to you. This is home that I am sharing with you, please introduce yourself when booking reservations, or inquiring.

Although the neighboring properties remain a little impoverished, big Southwestern skies, and wilderness quiet sleeps await.

There is no public transportation, but you can bicycle from one end of town to the other in 20 minutes (in at least one direction).

GPS has been failing in the last couple hundred feet to bring you in effectively. Please ignore last second instructions to turn onto Plateau Cir. For the benefit of all guests, the kitchen stove use is not shared. Kitchen privileges will be considered off-limits unless discussed prior to bookings. Special Gourmet breakfasts may be served depending on the mood of your host.

Your Host is a ragged old Alberto Tomba-racing, Nastar Pacestting, Master's Champion skier, Collegiate water ski champion, one of Moab's Grandfathers of Mountainbiking, a lifestyle and healthy-food recipe Coach, in addition to a career-long bicycle and a stance/gate/pedal and insole technician. Grew up with a wrench in my hand, putting things back together better and smoother than before, fine-tuning bikes, boots, and skis, anything mechanical. Loves leading new rides, and exploring on two wheels. Other passions include Soccer, and anything Audi/WRC. Me thinks that mountain biking and skiing is a form of the divine. Riding every Spring and Fall in Moab for almost 3 decades, always up on the new and old rides, and which direction they flow best. Moab is known for it's connection to the earth's vibrance, home of the Kokopelli. There may not be anywhere like it on the rest of this earth, please come and experience it for yourself.
A top technician/mechanic from the Rockies of Colorado to Cape Cod, and Jackson Hole to Squaw Valley, CA with a career-long background in custom insole fabrication, bike assembly and fitting, bio-mechanics, mechanical and suspension set-up. Being set on your bike properly boosts not only comfort, but output, endurance, confidence, minimizes aches, pain, wear-and-tear and keeps you off the ground.
A top resource in body rehab, and holistic pain management having had to learn how to stand, walk, and ride (snow ski, water ski, kick a soccer ball)again, after surviving an unfortunate lumber truck confrontation. Always a good source of healing advice for the injured, athlete in rehab, or anyone in pain.
Home of Larry the Legend's Custom Insoles, and the Tao de Bike, taking the art of foot comfort, and bio-mechanical advantage to the next level. Highly in-tune to diagnosing big and small mechanical and bio-mechanical issues, and resolving them, on your bike, and on the spot. Your bike will literally pedal itself, when I am done with it. Always happy to do a Pre-Ride Inspection, setting up your bike for you* and the terrain, show how and what should be cleaned daily, and find a trail of comfortable, but challenging, technicality for every rider.
Larry has ridden his bike throughout the USA as well as France, Italy, Switzerland, Canada and Mexico. Our style of hosting here is based largely on good old family-style, if you're here, you're part of the family. We sincerely hope you enjoy your stay.
Non-riders always welcome.
