À propos de ce logement
Our little flat is just two miles along the prom from hip and happening Margate. Wonderful views across the large communal garden to sandy, family-friendly St Mildred's Bay. Sleepy Westgate-on-Sea has small shops, cafes and an independent cinema.
To clarify the bed situation, there are two divans, which can be made up as a huge double or two singles - whatever is best for you.
In the living room, we have a flop-out sofa bed from John Lewis, which sleeps two. It folds up into an ottoman during the day, when not in use. It's a bit cosy with the bed out but that's all part of the fun. There are curtains to separate off the area, so you have a little privacy.
(When in use, this bed is comfy and cosy but effectively it's a mattress on the floor. It's not for you if you have any issues getting up from a bed on the floor).
There's also a good quality high single air bed (which is as high as a normal bed), which will go in the bedroom, if you're really packing 'em in. We have a travel cot but ask guests to bring their own bedlinen for that.
Other than that, you know. Kitchen with breakfast table for two, bathroom with bath and shower over, dining table which extends to seat six. Living area with sofa and two funky swivelly chairs.

I'm always close to my phone but don't live near the flat. My mum lives nearby and will dive to your rescue if needed.
The flat overlooks St Mildred's Bay, a lovely sandy, shallow beach. There are great rock pools at low tide and a fantastic greasy spoon cafe called Pavs. It's all right at the bottom of the garden.
Westgate-on-Sea is a big village, with its own station, an affordable independent cinema, a greengrocer, butcher and small Co-op supermarket. If you fancy a drink, head up to Station Road (where the shops are) and go to CCs. It belongs to my cousin Simon and specialises in gin, with lots of different types to try.
The best way of getting to Margate itself is to walk along the prom. It's two miles - just go to the bottom of the garden and turn right. You'll walk through Westbrook beach before arriving at Margate.
If you prefer wheels, Thanet Cars should charge about £5 to take you in a taxi.
Alternatively, there's a pretty good bus service. Go out of the front door and turn left. Turn right (away from the sea) and walk up to the main road (about 200 yards). You'll see the bus stop on your left, near the tennis courts.
