While the space was okay, it was definitely not worth the hour long fiasco it took to get into our room. We got off the bus in Kanchanaburi after dark, around 8pm, and called the number listed as instructed while walking the 25 minutes toward the apartment with our backpacks (we opted to walk because we wanted to stretch our legs). The address listed, however, was incorrect and although we were just down the street from the actual location, we had no way of knowing this. Our host, bless her, speaks very little English and we speak even less Thai so it was very difficult to communicate over the phone where to go to pick up the key and head to the apartment (on the map the apartments are scattered in different locations, but really they are all in the same building called A & S Residences and you pick up the key from the security guard at reception). Once we finally figured out where to go by asking the few people we passed on the street, we showed up and the security was no where to be seen for another 20 minutes. Armed with this information, your stay might be much smoother than ours. The location is a 25 minute walk from town and the rooms are brightly painted yet lack atmosphere, but are clean.
