RELAXATION - The backyard with surrounding views of the mountains is designed for relaxation. Sunbathe on the tanning shelf of your own private pool, read a book or entertain alfresco in the Gazebo, or just take it easy and unwind on one of the many chaise lounges surrounding the pool. For more lively entertainment, challenge friends and family to a game of Bocce Ball. The Bocce Ball court is regulation size (12’x65) and nestled amongst the citrus trees. If golf is your game, the backyard sits on the 4th tee box of the Legend Course, part of the desirable 36 hole Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort, named by Golf Digest “One of the Best Places to Play” for Golf Resorts. The Legend Course was designed by William Francis Bell, known for designing Torrey Pines, La Jolla Country Club and Bermuda Dunes Country Club.
REST - A warm day spent in the backyard or on the course will require a little rest. Cynthia and I live in the neighborhood and are available at very short notice. I will be checking in with you regularly to make sure you are comfortable, answer any questions you may have, and make sure your vacation is as enjoyable as possible.
We make it a point to meet with you at check in to answer any questions and so there are no misunderstandings regarding the condition of the house and it's amenities. We will also meet with you at check out and do a walk through. What we look for are signs of abuse, missing or broken items, used sheets and towels should be put in the bathtub, no dirty dishes left in the sink, etc. Simply leave the house straightened up like it was upon arrival.
We have a 7Palms website that contains more information. Site address upon request. Once an agreement to lease is ratified, you will be sent the password to the "For Our Guests" area that lays out additional information about 7Palms. Please note the following charges will apply: An 11.5% tax on all vacation rentals and will be collected via credit card at the end of your stay. Listed price INCLUDES a pool/spa heating fee. 7Palms is a freshly renovated, fairway home and is priced competitively. We do not negotiate terms. Palm Springs TOT#6483.

We respect peoples rights to party and enjoy themselves, but Palm Springs has very strict noise control ordinances. Anything that can be heard outside the boundaries of the property is considered a violation of the ordinance. We take this very seriously and can lose our permit to provide vacation rentals in Palm Springs if these ordinances are violated. All security deposit funds are forfeited if there is any complaint by any neighbor or any police response to excessive noise and you will be required to leave the house immediately. An agreement to lease 7Palms for any period of time acts as a tacit understanding and approval of these terms. 7Palms is a non-smoking residence and smoking indoors forfeits the security deposit. Check in is 3pm and check out is 11am, unless other arrangements are made.
The City of Palm Springs now requires all guests staying at vacation rentals to read and understand the "Good Neighbor" Brochure. It's the last photo in my listing. You'll be asked to confirm that you've read and understand the terms of both the brochure and the House Rules before any inquiry is reserved.

As hosts of a flourishing B&B in Mexico for many years, we understand the importance of providing a product that is better than advertised. Exceeding our clients expectations is our #1 goal. Part of that equation is to be clear on what 7Palms is and is not, so that our potential guests can be comfortable that they are vacationing in a property they will enjoy to the fullest.
7Palms is centrally located in a quiet neighborhood, out of the windy part of the Valley, and on a golf course. It is the ideal spot for a couple, 2 couples, or a small family of 4 to enjoy peacefully lounging by the pool or reading a book while while sunbathing. We also offer several outdoor activity choices, including bocce ball, soft tipped darts, Trac Ball and more.
Please note that 7Palms is perfect for families. With a variety of things to do at the house, there’s enough to keep most kids occupied. But, 7Palms is not really “childproofed”. Much of our artwork is original and can’t be replaced, the furniture is new, etc. We ask that parents be aware of this before committing to stay here. If we ask you to tell us about your party, please provide some assurances that your children will be under your supervision at all times.
The City of Palm Springs has very strict noise abatement ordinances. The ordinance states that if music or voices can be heard at the property boundary, it is considered in violation. Although we appreciate and encourage everyones right to party and have a good time, if that is your goal, 7Palms is not the right fit for your needs. We have a very strict policies in place if a neighbor complains, the police are called, or a noise related citation is issued, including loss of all security deposits. Reasonability is key...there’s a big difference between music turned up to 9 and laughing around the pool.
The City of Palm Springs collects an 11.5% Occupancy Tax on all rentals. It will be collected by credit card at the end of your stay. Also, the City of Palm Springs has developed several new policies designed to better oversee the vacation rental market, including creating the Vacation Rental Compliance Department. This new department now requires all vacation rental owners to provide to all guests a Good Neighbor Brochure, receipt of which must be acknowledged by the guests. The brochure is the last photo in the listing. Please take a moment to review it. If you'd like to continue with booking, just acknowledge you've read it and agree to it's terms.
We require a $500 AirBNB security deposit. AirBNB will handle all processing for the $500 security deposit, which is a temporary block, not a charge, to your credit card. All guests are required to leave the property as they find it at arrival. We will meet with you at arrival for a walk through and to answer any questions. On the day of departure, we meet with you 15 minutes before your leave for a departure walk through. So long as there are nothing missing or broken, no signs of abuse, no dirty dishes in the sink, used towels AND sheets are put into the bathtub, etc., no claim will be made to your deposit. The house doesn’t need to be “polished”, just straightened up like when you arrived. We’ll do the polishing after you’ve gone.
Violation of any house rule or occupancy limitation without prior approval will result in a full forfeiture of your security deposit.
