The poolhouse has free street parking at the front of the premises with a separate private and secure entrance which runs alongside the main house.
This ensures easy unimpeded and safe access at any time.
The ground floor of the poolhouse has a polished concert floor consisting of a dining space - with an extendable antique dining room table, generous two seater leather lounge, separate easy chair, vintage chest coffee table, and entertainment unit.
The bathroom with a shower, vanity and toilet as also located downstairs and is stocked with all the necessary emergency toiletries and plenty of towels.
Floor to ceiling cedar windows with individual blinds for privacy and convenience are positioned to overlook the pool and garden.
The fully equipped, self contained kitchen includes a Nespresso pod coffee machine, 3/4 size fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave, sandwich press, built in two hob electric cooker, separate conventional mini oven and grill.
A bespoke handmade traditional wrought-iron staircase leads to the natural sisal carpeted upstairs loft bedroom and sitting room. This space is fitted with a new queen sized bed with queen quilt (or a choice of two single quilts depending on your preference), bedside tables and hanging space (iron and ironising board also available) plus two easy chairs, a coffee table and small desk. A matching set of upstairs floor to ceiling French cedar windows open up to the wrought-iron flower boxes overlooking the branches of a mature ornamental pear.
Whilst architecturally designed to make the most of environmental aspects - both upstairs and downstairs spaces are fitted with separately controllable reverse cycle air conditioners for added warm or cooling if needed.
Guests are also welcome to use the (solar heated) pool and there is a choice of three separate outdoor and poolside dining ares.
To help guests settle in and relax when they arrive - the pool house is also stocked with ground and instant coffee, a selection of teas, fresh milk, juice and fruit - as well as toast and a choice of spreads and cereals for all the makings of a healthy continental breakfast.

Guests have access to street parking, a separate entrance to the property and the poolhouse, the garden and pool and a choice of numerous outdoor and poolside dining options.

The pool house is situated in the garden of the main house, and we are happy to provide support, information and assistance wherever required.

Parkside is a very quiet, leafy and safe neighbourhood with numerous heritage style stone homes located on the fringe of the city of Adelaide.
The property is a 3 minute walk from bus stops providing public transport to the city or the hills.
There are numerous shopping centres (including Australia's best foodland outlet! ) boutiques, shopping strips, cafes, vintage outlets, local parks, restaurants, bars and hotels.
Free bike hire and trams from the city ensure that the beaches, the Adelaide Hills and all the attractions of the city are accessible and at your fingertips.

Busses, trams, bike hire (free collection, use and drop off) are all within a few minutes walk.

We live in a wonderful community and expect guests to respect the local environment and the sanctity of our neighbours.
Parties are not appropriate and pets are not permitted (in the grounds or in the poolhouse). Smoking is not permitted inside the poolhouse and in the interests of safety - glassware is not allowed in the pool area.
The poolhouse is environmentally designed to suit the Australian climate, with super effective insulation and orientation plus energy efficient heating and cooling. Accordingly we ask that air conditioners and heaters be switched off when the poolhouse is not in use. Likewise automatic sensor lights have been installed for added safety and security at night.
Basically we expect you to treat the place with as much love, care and respect as we do - just as you would your own home.
