À propos de ce logement
Masseria Serra dell'Isola was built by my ancestors. Once a 17th century olive oil mill, today it is a unique place for travellers to relax and find tranquillity, far away from the hectic cities. Each bedroom have original antique family furniture.
“Although the Masseria has its own history, we won’t narrate it. We prefer to let your imagination invent stories and characters that animate it, hoping that they will keep you company during your stay and long after”
Masseria Serra dell’ Isola has been built by my ancestors as an olive oil mill in the 17th century. More than the owner, I consider myself the heiress and the guardian of a tradition and of a place where time and the frenetic rhythm of the metropolis are far away and unknown.
At Masseria Serra dell’Isola, centuries have passed, preserving its history and culture, as well as the authentic lifestyle of those days, when the wayfarer was welcomed as a sacred guest, and left as a friend.
Here, you will find only people who are happy to be part of a community where you will always be welcome.
stands on a hillock close to the Medieval town of Conversano and 4 km far from the coast, overlooking the sea of Mola di Bari, along the “Roads” of the Romanesque Cathedrals and of the Medieval Castles and very next to Valle d’Itria, the land of Trulli.

I live in my property, in a private part of the Masseria, but in all the common areas, inside and outside, my guests are welcome. It's so nice to rest in the garden enjoying a book, when the "maestraletto" rise. This light fresh wind is called "Il vento dei Signori", the Land Lords Wind, because it wake up late morning.
The core of the Masseria is my kitchen, where in different way everyone finish to be involved. The smell and the flavours of our healthy food will capture you. Fresh pasta, fresh vegetables and legumes, gorgeous wines, pure extra vergin olive oil are the best heritage of our country.

You could keep your privacy in any moment of your staying, but here I am, for anything you need. And I will be happy to share with you my knowledge of the area. Puglia is a kaleidoscope of many cultures in one. the history, the arts, the architecture, the food habits, if you would like to know something with the eyes of a Southern Italy woman. You will discover more that you expected from this corner of Puglia.
In this Masseria I live with my beloved cats. But if you don't like them, just let me know. They could easily stay in my private part of the masseria.
If you have food intollerances or if you are vegetarian, please let me know.
No TV in the bedrooms but wi fi in the common areas and in the garden.
Please , no smoke inside.
If you have pets, little size, and "polite", they are welcome, but you have to know that there are cats around.
If there are children, they are welcome too.
There is no pool in the garden, but the sea is 10 minutes far by car.
Please, don't wast water. Take care of this habit.
Puglia has no rivers, and always water is never enough.
So, please, use water sparingly. This means sustainable accommodation, good for you, for the area, for the earth.
I know that there are hotels and B&B with perfect green grass. But the authentich landscape of Puglia is with no green grass in Summer.
Thats why, so sorry, but I have no green grass in my garden in Summer, but a natural wild green grass in Spring, Autumn and Winter.
