We accommodated Alberts family of 9. In response to Alberts response I advise as follows:-
We provide our tariff to AirB&B which is calculated through AirB&B website. For some reason the tariff provided to Albert through Airbnb website was incorrect and I advised him of this. After much discussion Dirk and I decided to honour AirB&B 's tariff which was incorrect. Albert was not charged extra and no extra money was deposited into Judith's bank account. All money paid is through AirB&B.
Although the microwave is not new it is a Panasonic and works well. However once Dirk showed the guests how to operate the microwave everything was ok.
The kitchen has a Raeburn wood oven, a microwave, a bbq and a small convection oven and hotplates. We dont understand why Albert made this comment as most guests cook substantial meals without trouble.
We are concerned about Alberts comment regarding " luxurious". We are always mindful how we promote our accommodation. We have never promoted our accommodation as luxurious and if Albert can advise us where he has evidence of this then we would like to be advised. We would like to correct this if it is the case. We always promote our accommodation as "delightful country cottage" retreat. However some people think a " retreat" is a " resort" and we think this may have been the case with Albert and his family.
Our accommodation is AAA 4 star rated and we feel that our tariffs are in line with the standard provided and facilities provided.
Alberts family were friendly and extremely respectful of our accommodation leaving it clean and tidy.
However we must disagree with Alberts comment regarding additional payment. Albert did not pay extra and no money was paid to Judith. Thank you for the opportunity to respond to Alberts review.
