Wonderful location: the bedroom and living room windows overlook the New Town Square with old half-timbered houses. A wonderful view. Location perfect for sightseeing, and also close (8-10 minutes on foot) from the coach and train station (5-6 minutes from Lidl). With the Kurtax (city tax) receipt from our host we could travel by all the local bus lines in the Harz and the surrounding area for free for the whole week, which helped us a lot during our trips.
The kitchen is very well equipped, and eating our own meals in the bright and spacious living room was very comfortable. We were met by a very friendly representative of the host, who was waiting for us at the flat already 10 minutes after our phone call from the train station. The second bedroom is located en suite, which is very comfortable for families with children, but may be rather less convenient for adults. Comfy beds, the place was clean, simple, practical, and it was fun to live in a half-timbered 18th-century house with slanting floors.
Highly recommended! And Quedlinburg is one of the most beautiful and memorable small towns in Europe.
