À propos de ce logement
Right downtown but very private. Mid-century modern meets Bohemian vibe. Main living space plus bathroom and new kitchenette downstairs - with large Fisher Paykal fridge. Bedroom and small work area upstairs. Deck for morning coffee or evening cocktails. Not slick hotel experience - more funky and fun. (A Janice Lindsay, Pink Colour + Design project)
Parking is one block away at the free Cooper Besmer lot off St Patrick St just east of the University building. Cars can be left for up to 3 days. They can stay longer - you just have to move to a new spot every three days.
There are tall portable fans on both levels.

I don't live there but my commercial tenants are very friendly if you want advice or information. Wayne in Diamond Dog Vinyl. and Kelly in Martingale Vintage. Derek and Ashley in Soup Surreal are friendly but usually dealing with a line up of customers for their wonderful soup! makes an easy meal at home if you do take-out. And you can always reach me by text.
This building is kind of different. Colourful hallways. Bohemian vibe. Fantastic location. Laundry room just down the hall.
No smoking. No pets. No unregistered guests after 10:00.

I am an interior designer with specialty in colour and a back ground in theatre design and styling for photographers. I love creating comfy spaces with my clients and now for my AirBnB guests! I live in a Victorian home in the Toronto Annex that I bought with with my husband, writer David Macfarlane thirty years ago!! It was my first big project. Our two grownup artsy kids live nearby. [Actually our daughter is currently studying Design and Urban Ecologies at New School in NYC] I spent much of the last 2 years creating 5 funky living spaces in The Baker Building, Stratford. Grew up in Stratford and I worked as a props maker and later a designer at the Stratford Festival. I love music, art, tennis, eating with friends, travel, reading.... curious people. And the power of colour to change lives - which is why I wrote 400 pages on the subject in my book All About Colour.
