This beautiful house is located in Central Kihei just a 5 minute walk to Charley Young Beach or Kalama Beach Park right across the street! Location is dynamic; walking distance to just about everything you need

Great location and walking distance to everything. There are 2 different houses on the property. As you drive into the gates, this house is towards the back of the property and the house color is grey. The drive way is long and please drive on the left hand side.

Total access to back house and back house yard. If arriving in the evening, there will be a orange cone to mark the gate and driveway. Drive towards the back of the property. Once inside, there are grey remotes to open and close the gate. Please keep these closed at all times.

We have installed Photo Voltaic Solar System. This means that the houses solely rely on the solar power (sun) to run the houses. With that being said, we have to make sure the following are followed at all times. Please note: this is a new system and we are continuing to work out the kinks and learn!

The dishwasher is to be run during the day only. The best hours to run the dishwasher are 9am to 3pm.
The air-conditioning CANNOT be left on during the day when you are gone during the day. In the event we are charged back from Maui Electric Company, you will be responsible for that amount with a 100% mark up. Please note: as of 6/2/17, we have not had any issue of charge back.
Shoes off policy: No shoes are allowed in the house.
Excess sand: please shake beach towels outside. In the event there is an excess amount of sand in the house, there will be a $100 fee for removal.
Washer and Dryer hours are 8am-5pm.
When washing and drying beach towels and bath towels, please try and use the line drying to get them mostly dry. Then put them into the dryer with a dryer sheet to finish drying and soften them up.

HOUSE POLICIES AND RULES
Our check in time is 3pm and our check out time is 10am. Our cleaning crews are prescheduled and these times cannot be changed.
Only guests registered with the unit are allowed to stay. We are not permitted to have additional guests stay at the unit. We also do not allow parties, weddings or receptions.
Quiet times are from 8pm to 8am. This is to insure our neighbors and you are happy. If the kids are in the pool, we know they get excited, please have them understand these rules as well. We also know that groups like to get up early and do the road to Hana as well as Haleakala. PLEASE BE MINDFUL ABOUT SLAMMING DOORS, LOUD VOICES, ETC WHEN LEAVING EARLY. We do have neighbors and other tenants that are still sleeping!
NO PARKING ON THE STREET. Please park in the designated spots for this unit. They are clearly marked. Please close gates and be patient while gates open and close. Only 2 cars per registered guests.
If the pool cleaner is in the pool, please disconnect the hose at the skimmer and pull the cleaner out by the base. When you are finished using the pool, please connect the hose back to the skimmer and put cleaner back in pool. This will insure your pool is clean for later. If this is not done properly as stated, the pump will burn out and you will be financially responsible for the replacement. No cannon balls or diving in to pool. Please note that the pool pumps are on timers and cannot be changed.
NO GLASS at the pool EVER. If a glass should break, we have to empty the pool and you will be financially responsible for the cost of water.
NO PETS NO SMOKING- If smoking is found in the house or on the property, you will be asked to leave immediately with no refund.
Please remove shoes before entering the house. It’s a Hawaiian culture thing!
Please do not sit on furniture, linens, beds with wet bathing suites, sun screen or oil. Any damage to furniture or linens you will be financially responsible for the replacement cost
The bath and beach towels are accounted for upon departure, any missing/damaged or stained towels you will be financially responsible for replacing.
Trash nights are Monday and Thursday nights. Brown trash bin is located at the front of the driveway next to the automatic gates. Please make sure your trash is out. (If you have food, diapers, etc please make sure those are in a trash bag before putting into the large bin.
Recycles include: aluminum cans, plastic bottles and glass beer bottles. Maui doesn’t include anything else. Please look at label before putting into the recycle bin provided and make sure it says “HI5”. The recycle bin is located off the back deck of the kitchen.

We do try and recycle as much as allowed in Maui. There is a recycle bin off the back deck. Please make sure you only put “Hi5’’ items (beer bottles, water bottles, cans) Other items such as wine/liquor bottles, food containers and cardboard are not.

Check out procedures


Please gather all towels, bath and beach, and put them by the back door. If you can start a load that would be great. Please do not put wet towels on furniture or rugs.
Please load dishwasher and start on normal.
Please remove and dispose of any open food in the refrigerator.
Remove any and all trash; take to large bins in the driveway.
Make sure you have checked you car for any items that belong to the house.
Place all remotes (gate, TV, cable) on the kitchen island.
Put back any furniture that may have been moved
Check all drawers and closets for personal items
Turn off all lights and appliances that are not being used.
Close all windows and doors. Do not lock doors.

We traveled with three kids ranging in ages. This location was PERFECT for that. The kids took off on their own often and went to foodland or the beach or the skate park. They used the pool several times a day and the washer and dryer which was right there (they'd strip down and ditch their wet suits right at the washing machine or dry towels for a bit before climbing out of the pool). One of the best places to eat is literally across the street at a food truck. Delicious, affordable and so easy. We'd go grab a bunch of food and bring it back and eat at the picnic table in the backyard. Lynn was easy to get ahold of with questions. We really enjoyed our time here BUT! next time we won't travel with our kids so..... hey Lynn! Got any one bedroom condos on the beach for us?!

My family and I absolutely enjoyed staying here for the week. The bed and pillows were nice and comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and big. The kitchen was full of utensils and supplies. The pool and bbq grill in the front yard was a super plus! Lynn was also really nice and easy to contact. She even came over to bring over extra linens and blankets late at night. We would definitely come back and stay here.

Overall it was a very nice clean house and it was tucked away for privacy which was nice but also caused problems with wifi functionality and phone service. Pool cleaner didn't really work so there were a ton of dead bugs in the pool but it stayed really warm and was nice to hang out around. Convenient location right by downtown Kihei which has tons of fun shops and delicious restaurants. Definitely a nice house and Lynn was very helpful with any issues we had but be warned gardeners walk into yard unannounced and if you plan on looking anything up or using the internet you have to be super patient with both slow wifis.

This place is amazing! The location is just perfect and the house is as the pictures are showing. We went there with our two kids (2 and 3 1/2 years old) and the place was such a good choice for us! It's litteraly 5 minutes walk from the Kalama park (where the kids had a blast EACH day) and some pretty good restaurants. The pool is small, but really nice to jump into! And the privacy of the courtyard is amazing, we had the feeling we were alone (when we were in fact in the middle of the action). Already thinking about coming back next year! Thanks for letting us enjoy this remarkable place on Maui!

This is one house (bungalow style) of a two-house property. The other house is also rented and has it own yard/pool, there is plenty of separation between the two homes. Our house was very private, and has its own small pool and yard. The house is very comfortable - 2 bedrooms with queens and another bedroom with 2 singles. 2 full baths, and a full kitchen and living area. House has a/c, wifi, grill, cable TV, deck. Its very cute. It is located about 150 yards down a residential street that intersects with South Kihei Street, which is the main beach street for Kihei and where all the services are located. Across S. Kihei is Cove Park, which is where everyone in the area surfs and paddle boards. So there are several surf shops in the area, and a ton of restaurants and bars. Kihei Caffe and Paia Fish Market are two fantastic and relatively inexpensive casual dining options which we used often, and they are right at the intersection. Groceries are also nearby at Foodland or Safeway (or Costco at airport). We cooked often and the kitchen is well stocked. Some of the best beaches in Maui start about a mile south of the house and have ample parking. Very relaxed family beaches with Lifeguard stations/showers/bathrooms, and services across the street for cold drinks etc. Lynn is a wonderful and very attentive host, and she replied to any questions we had almost immediately. The entire renting process was very easy. Overall, we had a great stay, and would definitely recommend this property.

The location is great - a two minute walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. If you want to stay in Kihei, you hardly have to drive at all. The standard of the house is nice and had most things we needed. We enjoyed eating at the picnic table and hanging out by the pool. We figured our two year old would spend a lot of time swimming in the pool, but it was a little too cold for him. Good to know that the pool isn't heated so young children might not like it. Lynn was very friendly and responsive to all our questions

This gem was a perfect, central location in Kihei right by the shops and nightlife. Private space off the strip made for easy walks but seclusion when needed. Everything was exactly as expected from the pics, great communication with Lynn helped make for an unforgettable trip. -RSS
