Description

We are trying to make this space a den for travellers and artists. We are located in a very peaceful area, surrounded by all the basic amenities. We also have farmer's market, arts market, super market, cafes, bars and restaurants just a short walk.

We are trying to make our place a comfortable and friendly space for our guests. We are still setting up and giving early bird discounts while we are trying to give some personal touch to this place.
We are 2 friends, myself Mithila, originally from India; fell in love with Nepal when I first came in 2012. It was my dream to set up this bed and breakfast since 2014, and now I finally have it and am loving every bit of setting up. I am an avid traveller, a wanderer and am very happy to finally be a host on airbnb (you can view my reviews on my personal airbnb profile here; https://www.airbnb.com/users/reviews/27462273). I have hosted several travelers in my my homes in different countries through couchsurfing (URL HIDDEN) Professionally I am a photographer and move around often for work. By the way, I will also be conducting some photo walks for our guests.
My friend and my partner in this crime, Sanatan (aka Santa); whom I met last year April while we were volunteering for earthquake relief together for almost 2 months. We had a chance to get to know each other well and grew better as friends. While we both love to travel, we have different interests. Santa is a national level Archery and snooker player and is willing to give free archery lessons. There is space for anyone with any interests in our home :)

Guests have access to the entire property except bedrooms of other guests ;)

We are travelers ourselves, which the reason why we started this venture so we can meet likeminded people and of course we will be more than happy to help them explore and wander through this beautiful country in every way possible.
Also we plan to exchange souvenirs, so if you can bring us something from the country you are arriving from, we would love to send you away with something Nepali from our end.

We are located in a very peaceful area, surrounded by all the basic amenities. We have super market, cafes, bars, restaurants and a health club just a short walk away. We are also just a few blocks away from a Sunday Farmer's market and a monthly Art's market.

You can walk just 2 minutes outside to the main road and find public transport like tuktuk or taxis to get around town. You can also rent bikes nearby if you want some adventure. Also, we have parking space for bikes and cars.

They will feel comfortable and at home in our home.

Règlement intérieur

No smoking inside the rooms. Guests are free to smoke in the balcony, rooftop and other outdoor & garden area.
No shoes inside the house. We will provide you with home slippers :)
And thats it :)

About me:
Personal: I am a photographer and I love to travel and meet people from around the world. I am a very curious person. I like to learn about other countries and their culture.
Perfection is boring to me. I like imperfect and unsafe environments, which make space for challenges. I aim to travel and lead a life that gives me an adrenalin rush and I intend to document all my journeys through my camera.

5 things I can't live without are travel, mountains, camera, music & books.

Philosophy: The risks that you don't take are the risks you regret.

Professionally: I am a social documentary/humanitarian photographer working with organisations like UNICEF, UNDP, USAID and many other development agencies in several countries across the globe. I also work on various commissioned travel, editorial and other commercial assignments and conduct photography workshops in several countries with different media collectives, corporates and students.
