Allow us to introduce ourselves; our names are Laurie and Madeleine Hill.
We call ourselves "English Hills Cape Town".
We are both retired professional English teachers.
We enjoy entertaining mature visitors (over 40 years old) from other countries and sharing our love of language with them.
We enjoy reading, theatre, music (classical, world and musical shows) and we love wine and our local wine estates.
We have an elderly, well-behaved and much-loved dog Gemma and a recently rescued dog Toby who is great fun.
We are both originally from England, and we love travelling there. Our favourite places are Germany, France, Switzerland and Italy.
