Only available for stays of one month or longer. The Studio is big! 22' x 15' It has has bamboo floors, it's own entrance, a queen bed, creative workspace, and scandinavian furniture.
The Chalet is a beautiful six bedroom, three bath house in the north hills of Missoula, also known as the Rattlesnake. There are wood floors, cathedral ceilings, a fireplace, views of the entire valley, big windows all around, two decks, a loft and an occasional bear in the really large backyard.
The household consists of a group of mature, friendly, adventurous folks sharing the house cooperatively. We have hosted many intrepid travelers and bicyclists, and an occasional acoustic music night as well. There aren't any TV sets in the house, but there is high speed internet. We are three miles from downtown. Hiking trails into the Rattlesnake Wilderness start at the beginning of our street. Our house is non-smoking.

Please park in front of the Chalet -- our neighbor across the street likes her parking area just for her car. : >). Our house is non-smoking no drug house. We keep the noise down after 10pm and before 9am. We have a neighborhood cat named Murry that likes to visit -- if there are folks in your group with allergies, please let us know. We have space in the first floor refrigerator for you to use -- we'll show you where it lives.

Hi folks! I've lived in Montana for 10 years, doing a lot of traveling myself during that time, including Africa, parts of Europe and the Arctic Circle. Missoula is a special, creative and active place, and the Chalet house is a lot like Missoula! I am a creative designer -- my focus is on architecture projects, especially with a sustainable orientation. We also have a park ranger, and a set designer here. Since the house is located at a trailhead into the Rattlesnake Wilderness, we do a lot of hiking, mountain biking and jumping into the river in the summer months. In the winter, we love to cross-country and downhill ski, and the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival is a favorite too. The Chalet has a large living room that is great for yoga as well.
