Charming village house with spectacular views, situated in a quiet, sunny residential street below the château ruins and within easy walking distance of the village square. Only a few minutes' walk to restaurants, bars and Roman bathing pool. Private terrace for eating outside. Free public street parking.
A classic Provençal village house on three floors, renovated to update the comfort, while leaving the charm untouched.
On the 1st floor: a cozy sitting/dining room with open fireplace and wood burner, a fully equipped spacious kitchen, tiled with local ceramic tiles and a vaulted shower room with large tiled shower, basin and WC. 2nd separate WC.
On the 2nd and 3rd floors: 2 sunny south-facing bedrooms and a small sitting room with sofa bed, TV etc. Bedroom 2 is on the top floor. All 3 rooms with spectacular views over the village roof tops to the hills beyond.
On the ground floor: a private terrace, hidden from street view by lush vegetation and partially shaded by a mature oleander tree, with garden table and chairs for eating outside. BBQ and cellar for bike storage.
Public street parking immediately outside the property.

I have compiled a detailed brochure which I leave in the cottage for guests to browse through containing ideas for things to do in the area, suggestions of places to visit, local market days and a list of my favourite restaurants and personal haunts. It also includes lots of practical advice and emergency telephone numbers.
A charge of €20 will be made if linen is required for the sofa bed. This should be paid in cash on arrival.
HEATING will be charged for by the unit used during the winter months (October - April). An average summer electricity allowance is included in the rent and only units used over and above this amount will be charged for, on departure.
No pets unless by prior arrangement with the owner
Linen and bath towels are provided, but please bring beach towels.
Departure time by 10AM
As a passionate adventurer, I love travelling and interacting with different cultures. I'm attracted to any wild and untouched corners, am a keen nature photographer and love walking, cycling, music and .... old roses!
I've been renting my house since 2008 (only recently signing up with Airbnb) and have met lots of great people from around the world.
I would like to think that my cottage reveals a true taste of Provence and that everybody who stays in it leaves with warm memories and the desire to return.
