À propos de ce logement

You will love our bright and comfortable seaside house, with gorgeous views of Brighton. Good location, walking distance to city centre with its busy cafes, restaurants, bars, and theatre. The house is newly renovated with 'real' super comfortable beds. Good local foody pubs, parks and supermarket nearby. The seafront and Palace Pier are 20 mins walk, 5 mins drive. Perfect for families, business travellers and groups of friends as beds can be singles or doubles depending on your needs.

This house is in a great location, the area is very quiet and friendly which gives guests an opportunity to experience a real and lovely side of Brighton. The house is only 15 mins walk to the fun and buzzy North Laines, and shopping centre of Brighton where you can stroll around the eclectic mix of Vintage shops, boutiques and Cafes, a further 5 mins and you are on the Seafront. The beautiful South Downs are on our doorstep, a 10 minute drive north of the house. Gatwick is 30 mins drive, 20 mins by train. Brighton Station 15 mins walk, London Road Station 5 mins walk. There is a good bus service (bus stop 3 mins walk) with frequent buses taking you around the whole city and beyond.

The house has recently been refurbished and everything is in new or good working order. There is of course wi-fi. There is a lovely large open fire which guests are welcome to use, I will provide wood on request.

The house is set out on three floors with a kingsize bed in each room and an extra single in the largest room. I can however split the beds and provide 7 single beds on request.

On the ground floor there are two lovely comfortable double bedrooms both with a kingsize bed (which can be separated as explained above), one chest of drawers per room, hooks and hangers and a mirror.

On the top floor there is the largest bedroom which has a kingsize bed, and a further single bed. This bedroom has two chest of drawers, hooks, hangers and a mirror.

On the top floor we have a large bathroom with a bath, separate shower, two sinks and one of many impressive views of Hanover Valley.

On the lower floor there is an open plan kitchen and living area. The kitchen has a gas hob and oven, a fridge, a dishwasher and a table that can seat 6/8 people. The living area has a sofa and chairs to sit around the lovely open fire. From the kitchen you can access the downstairs loo and the utility room which has a washing machine, a freezer, and an extra fridge which is great for drinks.

There is a pretty courtyard garden to the rear of the house with views down to the sea. All very peaceful and full of sounds of birdsong (not just
seagulls!).

The decor throughout is very simple and stylish with an mix of vintage and new.

I will endeavour to provide guests with all the comforts and advice they need to enjoy their stay in Brighton.

Access is through on the ground floor, street level. You have exclusive use of the whole house and garden.

I will provide guests with useful information, letting them know places to go and see in and around Brighton. I live very close by, in the next street, so I will be on hand if guests need any more assistance.

Autres remarques

The area is quiet and noise does travel, so we would like you to respect our neighbours. I haven't ruled out Hen Parties, but please be aware that it isnt suitable to loud groupls.

The area is restricted Residents Parking but there are pay bays nearby. I can direct guests to free parking where they can leave their cars while staying in Brighton (10 mins walk from house).

- No smoking in the house however you can smoke in the garden
- Well behaved dogs are allowed with advance arrangement and extra £15 cleaning fee applies.
This house is not a party house and if you are coming to use your accomodation for that purpose then this is not the property for you. Noise does travel and we love our neighbours so this house is not suitable for loud groups.

We hope you will really love our house, and to feel really comfortable and welcome. We also hope all our guests to respect all the love and attention that has gone into it and to look after it for us during their stay. I hope that noise in and around the house is kept to a minimum, especially after 11pm. We would like guests to remove shoes and to not smoke in the house.

Lovely family home. We used it as a weekend base to visit Glyndebourne. The house is well equipped and comfortable and we would love to come back on another occasion. Lisa was so helpful throughout our stay, thanks Lisa!

Lisa's house is gorgeous. My friends and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend here and would thoroughly recommend it. You can walk into town, but may want to take a bus or taxi back as it's a bit of a climb.

A fab house! We were a group of 6 and Lisa's place was perfect for us. There is plenty of space and all the bedrooms are decorated beautifully, and sheets are fresh and crispy clean. Lisa was also kind enough to make the beds all singles as we were all girls and not any couples. We were able to have breakfast outside in the garden which was a real sun trap. And there are additional fridges in the utility room as well as in the kitchen which is useful for storing additional food/wine. We did have a minor issue with the cleaning (only in the kitchen) but Lisa handled the whole situation with immediate response and was kind whilst doing so. Overall, a fantastic place to stay and I would recommend to others coming to Brighton as a group. Ubers were easily available at only less than 10 minutes into the centre of town and around £6/£7. Thank you Lisa for lending us your house for our weekend away!
