This house is very small, but super convenient. It's on wheels and one reasonably fit person can roll it anywhere. It also fits in a regular-sized van. Staying in the smallest house in the world is a unique experience and not for regular people.

"Great location. How interesting. Where's the bathroom?" Those are sure to be among the first several things you hear if you stay in this house. It comes with some unique challenges (see, e.g., how not to get rousted by the bulls) and some impossibilities (no shower). But it is incredibly rewarding. I spent two nights by the Charles River, one in a pouring rainstorm and another with 40-degree temperatures and 30 mph winds. Each night, I was cozy and comfortable reading a book and listening to the weather. Each morning, I woke up to a sunrise view out of the pie plate porthole windows. I spent my days doing what every visitor to Boston should do: walking the streets and exploring all the city has to offer. Jeff met me with his van to help unload the house and checked in on me frequently to make sure everything was going fine. (Which it was!) Once I decided on my departure time, I let him know and he came to pick up the house. If you decide to rent this place, know that it is not great for people with a ton of luggage or for multiple people unless you plan to get fairly cozy. But it is absolutely right for tall people (I'm about 6' 2" and had no problems) and people who want to experience the area without staying in a traditional hotel, a traditional B&B, or even a traditional AirbnB.

My virtual visit was very nice...I hope to have my son sleep out in it on the rocks in Maine this summer...
