This is a remarkable place! Quiet and secluded yet near Holston Lake, Abingdon, The Creeper Trail, and downtown Damascus. Located DIRECTLY on the Creeper Trail and DIRECTLY on the South Fork of the Holston River, your rental includes access to a private beach with a fire pit and picnic table!
The cabin is ideal for two people but additional space may be available in an adjoining cabin for an additional charge.
The cabin contains a bedroom with a queen size bed and two large closets. There is a modern eat-in galley style kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator/freezer and microwave. The cabin also offers a comfortable living room with satellite TV and DVD player. Your private bathroom is large containing a tub, shower, and washer and dryer for your convenience.
Step outside the back door onto a beautiful deck and you'll be less than 50 feet from the picturesque South Fork of the Holston River. Enjoy the sounds of the river and the abundant wildlife as you sip your coffee at daybreak and beverage of choice at dusk! You can choose to prepare your meals in the fully equipped kitchen, on the grill on the deck, or enjoy your private beach and cook over an open fire on the bank of the river.
Less than 10 feet from your front door lies the Virginia Creeper Trail! Hike or bike 3 miles to the Holston Lake, 6 miles to downtown Damascus, or 10 miles to Abingdon.

I live locally and am available by phone to answer your questions.
Parking for one vehicle is provided directly in front of the cabin. Please be aware that the driveway connects with the Creeper Trail and use extra caution to avoid hikers and bikers when you pull in. Also please park as far off to the side as you can so as to not block the trail. The cabin is located on the corner of Delmar Road and Alvarado road. I usually enter from Alvarado Road and exit onto Delmar. When you do this you are actually driving on the Creeper Trail for a short distance and, again, it's important to drive with care as there may be hikers and bikers. Thanks for understanding!
I'm so happy to share my beautiful home with you! If you are a clean, non-smoking, outdoor enthusiast who respects the planet and the property of others we'll get along just fine.
