Dulcamara cave-house is a typical dwelling of the northern parts of Granada province in which all rooms are carved into the mountain. It is the smallest in the complex of cave-houses that Pedro García owns for rental in Gorafe. The whole set of houses can be rented together since they share patio, parking slot, and a couple of barbecues.
This kind of construction offers a constant and natural temperature of between 18C and 22C without using air conditioning nor heating.
The cave-house is equipped with all facilities of a traditional house, including a bedroom with a 90cm wide auxiliary bed, two wide double bedrooms, a bathroom and a complete kitchen. The center of the cave is a hall with a heart (fireplace). Both bath and hall have windows to the exterior, allowing plenty of sun light inside.
The cave has room for 7 people, and it is located in a hill, offering nice views of the valley.
At about 5 minutes walk one finds the village center of Gorafe, with a megalith museum, bars and a couple of restaurants. Gorafe is known due to the high number of dolmens in its surroundings. Thermal swimming pools are located only 8km away. Granada city is about one hour by car.
