E Komo Mai to our wonderful tropical getaway spot in Kailua-Kona Hawaii :) Our newly remodeled condo in beautiful Keauhou Punahele is close to the tranquil waters of Keauhou Bay, & is ideally situated for all of your Big Island vacation activities :)
* Please note that there is a 5 night minimum stay, and that the total rate of for your actual reservation booking includes the required Hawaii taxes; also, there is a $150 non-refundable cleaning fee as well.

Beautifully appointed with island style furniture/decor, along with a recently remodeled master bedroom/bath & kitchen with new appliances, our 1200 sq.ft. condo is located in the lovely & well-maintained Keauhou Punahele complex (found at the "quiet" southern end of the world famous Ali'i Drive).
The expansive living room has large sliding doors leading out to the lanai, where you'll find nice patio furniture & a gas grill for use during your stay. Inside are comfy couches and chairs, newly carpeted floors, and a flat screen TV with a DVD player (plus cable service as well).
Your shaded lanai overlooks the immaculately manicured grounds, the golf course (just re-opened after recent renovations), and the very inviting private swimming pool/jacuzzi/cabana found in the center of the complex.
The spacious master bedroom (with a king sized bed) has its own entrance to the lanai, and the adjoining brightly lit bathroom has also been updated. The 2nd bedroom contains two full beds, and there is another full bathroom as well (with a new washer and dryer located within).

Our guests will have access to the private pool, whirlpool, cabana, and associated pathways at Keauhou Punahele :)
For folks with limited mobility, our unit is reached without any stairs (level pathway from the parking area to the front door).

Guests can chat with our very friendly Resident Managers (Jimmie & Yuki), if you have any questions about the condo association rules, facilities, etc. during your stay.
The tranquil waters of historic Keauhou Bay -- where Hawaii's royalty once dwelt next to, and which is now the starting point for many aquatic adventures -- is only a few minutes away. There is also a shopping center found close by, which has a KTA grocery store (offering many island food specialties), a bookstore, restaurants/cafes, movie theater, drugstore, and places to get sweet treats as well. Two farmer's markets are available nearby (Wednesdays at the Sheraton Resort, Saturdays at the Keauhou Shopping Center) for you to sample Hawaii's delicious fruits, vegetables, home-made goodies, and arts/crafts :)
For all of your west side Big Island activities, our condo is ideally located: Downtown Kona and the many shops/eateries there are within a 10-15 minute drive to the north, and the scenic waters of Keaulakekua Bay, the charming villages of Captain Cook, the world famous Kona coffee plantations, and the Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau (Place of Refuge) National Historical Park are a short ride to the south as well. (Depending on the time of day, the Kona International Airport is ~25-40 minutes by car.)
Upon arrival, guests will need to register at the Resident Manager's office, and also abide by the Keauhou Punahele Condo Association's requirements during your stay (a copy of the condo & our house rules will be available inside the unit, and emailed to you in advance of your stay -- most of these are "common sense-based"). You'll need to let our Manager know the dates of your stay, the number of guests, and your vehicle license # as well.
PARKING: Please use the designated parking spot in the complex (1 car only; see parking map located where the check/sign in at the resident manager's office). Note that there is no overnight parking in any of the "Visitor" spots and that all of the numbered, paved spaces are fully assigned as well (avoid the unpleasant surprise of not finding your vehicle, after it has been towed for being parked in the wrong area).
** PLEASE NOTE: Our complex is occupied by many year-round residents who enjoy its peaceful setting and tranquil atmosphere... As such, guests are expected to follow suit (i.e. no late night, loud parties or raucous festivities, etc.).
THERE IS NO SMOKING ALLOWED within the condo, out on the lanai, or along the outside pathways. (A designated smoking area is available -- please ask the Resident Manager for its location.)
Hawaii folks always remove their shoes before entering a household -- we politely request that our guests follow this custom as well.
