À propos de ce logement
The Warehouse is an architectural gem situated in a small Security Estate on the edge of the Cradle of Humankind
Designed to resemble a refurbished warehouse, the house has enormous windows and french doors opening onto a wraparound veranda. The space is funky with lots of mid-century and retro pieces and original South African art. Beds and linen are hotel quality and the kitchen is a cook’s dream. The 10 metre lap pool offers welcome refreshments on hot Highveld days. Two fireplaces keep the place cosy during the winter months.

My husband and I bought Harbour Place in 2007...we walked into the apartment while vacationing in False Bay and instantly fell in love with the ambience and breath-taking views of the ocean.
We love the fact that the building was once the old King's Hotel and that our apartment is in the exact spot that the King's Hotel Bar and Lounge used to be. We also love being part of the quaint little fishing village of Kalk Bay, a favourite with artists, writers and musicians. Many an afternoon is spent on our wooden deck, just watching the boats in the harbour and the passing parade on the village streets. A short train ride takes us all the way into Cape Town city centre or to Simon's Town in the opposite direction. We're close to the ocean and so many magnificent beaches, within walking distance of more than 15 excellent restaurants, bakeries, deli's and other eateries. To us, Harbour Place comes pretty close to heaven. We think you'll feel the same : )
