This STUDIO apt is bright, comfy, beachy, beautiful! The location is outstanding - walking distance to all of downtown. Central to beaches & activities. A/c and parking included. I am flexible, friendly, and happy to share info about Portland. Check our reviews, ask us questions, or just come stay with us!
This studio space is simply perfect for what you need. It's comfortable and it feels like home because it is. It's filled with great art, pieces of handmade furniture, etc. The space is ideal for 1 or 2, as there is only the one QUEEN size bed. But you could sleep a third person on the couch. I've slept on that couch myself many nights and it is very comfortable.
Additional details to know... As stated and pictured, this is a studio apartment - meaning all one room. But for a studio it is quite large and spacious. We have a bistro set in the bay windows for dining, enjoying coffee, or sitting on your laptop. TV with apple TV set up. Full size couch and coffee table. Full kitchen. Small, but clean bathroom, with a stall shower - no tub. A/c and ceiling fan. Black out curtains if you like to sleep in. Off-street parking included. Coin-op laundry in the basement.
Accès des voyageurs
Guests have access to a private apartment with it's own entry. They also have access to the driveway to park one car. As well they have access to the fire pit area out behind the house (seasonal from about April-November). We just ask that you keep the neighbors in mind and do not make loud noise after 9pm on weeknights and 10pm on weekends. Also, no unattended fires! Coin-op washer/dryer in the basement.
Other things included...
Stocked kitchen for cooking
Off street parking
Iron and board
The fire place inside the apartment is decorative and non-functioning.

I'm only as interactive as you'd like or need me to be. I am always available day or night for emergencies, or just general questions about the apartment and Portland. I enjoy sharing local intel about things to do/see/eat/drink in Portland, as well as day trips outside of Portland. But I mostly stay out of your way. Though I like to greet guests if and when possible, it's very common for guests to come and go without ever seeing me. I set things up so that you can access the apartment without me being present. That way you are not beholden to my schedule for arriving and departing. However, if you ever have any difficulty or trouble getting in, I'm always available and can be there within minutes.
I provide an extensive personal guide packet for Portland and the surrounding areas. This is not the stuff you'll find in tour books, or online. These are recommendations from me and my husband and our friends. Restaurants, bars, breweries, food and wine, beaches, hikes, walks, shops, day trips, indoor activities, sights to see, taxi companies that are reputable, etc. Our recommendations are pretty popular with our guests, and include little (URL HIDDEN) about what we love about certain options, like if a restaurant is particularly gluten free friendly, or why we prefer one beach on a windy day over another, etc.
IF YOU'RE INTERESTED I CAN HELP YOU GET SET UP WITH THE FOLLOWING:
*** The Portland Car Share program.
*** 2 hour sails around Casco Bay, private sailing charters or fishing charters.
***If you need a little relaxation, ask me for a recommendation for a licensed, experienced Massage Therapist.
***Day passes to the YMCA just down a couple of blocks. They have a pool, squash courts, kid activities, a full gym, and more. This is an additional $12 per day. Email me for more info.
I want you to feel at home. To me that means enjoy the space and be respectful of the neighbors. Please don't leave a big mess. And please let me know if you damage anything. Mistakes happen! I understand. Also, please note there is absolutely no smoking anywhere on the property and including within 20ft of the property line. As far as small children go, nothing about this apartment is designed for small children. There are no furniture anchors, no plug covers, etc. But you know your child. If you don't need those things, then you are welcome to come with your adorable tiny human, but of course please note, you do so at your own child safety risk!
À partir du 1 janvier 2018 - 31 mars 2018, la durée minimum de séjour est de 3 nuits.

Hi. I'm Nova. I'm from New York City. I moved to Portland in 2009 for 6 months, but I fell in love with the city. And here I still am. Portland is a great place. It's New England charm and healthy outdoor living with a dose of New York urbanity. Come visit!
