The Best Rental in the Rumpoint Area Totally Remodeled
Renovated in late 2015, our home features open concept living on the main floor, and two bedrooms on the second floor.
Both the master bedroom, with a king bed, and guest room, with two queen beds, have full ensuite bathrooms. The master ensuite features a large walk-in, tiled shower while the guest ensuite has a new tub-shower. Both have granite counter-tops. Each bedroom has a private balcony over-looking the cove, HDTV, ceiling fans, and air-conditioning. High quality towels and linens are provided for our guests.
The kitchen, with 5 stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops, is fully equipped and has direct access to the beautiful 2-storey screened lanai, with outdoor dining and a conversation area. The dining and living room also has lanai access through large sliding doors. Additionally, a laundry room, powder room and office with reading nook are located on the main floor. Large windows on the front of the home allow for unobstructed views of Rum Point Beach while the back, with its large sliding doors and lanai, provide gorgeous views of the beach, cove and tropical gardens.
Air conditioning on the main floor and both bedrooms, in addition to ceiling fans in each room, keep the home comfortable even on the hottest days. Amenities include HDTV with cable and Blu-Ray in the living room and 2 bedrooms, free calling to the US and Canada and Wi-Fi internet access.
The lanai is directly on the cove's beach. Our charcoal BBQ is located just outside the lanai as is the outdoor shower.
The pool is steps away from the back door and lanai. With a beautiful view of the cove and surrounded by palm trees and tropical gardens it is a great place to relax.
One double and two single kayaks are provided for our guests to explore the cove (with its rare bioluminescence at night) and the ocean beyond.
Five bicycles provide another way to explore this lovely area. Cycle 10 minutes and enjoy the afternoon at Starfish Point or stop in at Kaibo Yacht Club for lunch, drinks on the beach, or dinner.
We are happy to provide our potential guests with all the information they need about our home, the immediate surrounding area of Rum Point or Grand Cayman in general. We strive to return email inquiries within 24 hours and are also available to answer questions once you arrive in Grand Cayman. We also have a local property manager to assist you with any needs while staying at our home.
Rum Point Beach and the surrounding community have a wonderful lay back feeling. You will not find any hotels or large commercial complexes in this area. Our 18 "Island House" complex, with the homes built in a u-shape around the end of the cove, is part of a residential area of multi-million dollar beachfront homes.
Directly across from our home is a private undeveloped beachfront property. This allows for our unobstructed view of Rum Point Beach. A 100 foot stroll from the front door and you are on this amazing beach with its fine white sand and calm turquoise waters. Here you will also find the Rum Point Beach with its casual dining, beach bar, fine dining restaurant, gift shop and Red Sail Sports. Here you can join in the activities such as beach volleyball, snorkelling, scuba, etc., or just relax in one of the hammocks or lounge chairs with a cold Caybrew or famous Mudslide.
A short drive down the road is Kaibo Yacht Club. This is a great spot for either casual dining on the beach or fine dining in their upstairs venue. Once a week they have a beach BBQ and the Friday closest to the full moon, a wonderful dining experience under the stars, know as Luna del Mar.
In order to enjoy everything Grand Cayman has to offer a rental car really is a must. Driving is on the left hand side but one can easily adapt. The island is very safe and it is both easy and fun to go exploring!
Parking for 2 cars is provided in the driveway in front of our home.
Our immediate neighbourhood can be explored on foot or by making use of our 2 bikes or 3 kayaks.
Many beaches, restaurants, hiking trails and the Botanical Gardens are found on the north side of Grand Cayman within a 20 minute drive of our home.

A lock box code will be email to you once the final payment is processed. Guests will have access to the entire home as well as outdoor amenities such as a charcoal grill, one double and two single kayaks and two bicycles.
The home has wireless internet and cable HDTV in the living room and each bedroom.

As owners we will communicate via email to ensure that all of your questions are answered. An information package will be emailed once the booking is confirmed.
We will email to you, once you book a reservation the Terms and Conditions of Cayman Kai Vacations and a Hold Harmless Agreement.
You must sign the Hold Harmless and Terms and Conditions Agreement within 5 days of booking.
As we will not be in Grand Cayman when you are staying in our home, we have hired a local property manager to ensure any concerns you may have are promptly addressed.
Deposit and Cancellation Policy
The Initial Deposit for Summer/Fall/Winter Reservations we require to confirm a reservation, while not refundable, is "completely transferable without penalty" - to a new stay booked within the twelve months following the date of cancellation, to the same property that you reserved, subject only to availability and rates in effect during the season in which the new reservation falls
The Initial Deposit for Holiday Reservations we require to confirm a reservation, is non-transferable or non-refundable. Should, for whatever reason the remaining balance not be paid on or before 90 days before your arrival indicated in the confirmation we emailed you the reservation will be considered to be cancelled by the reserving party and no refund will be issued and the reservation will be canceled. Once the remaining balance is paid, the reservation is non-transferable, non-refundable.
We suggest that you get trip insurance to protect yourself in case that you have to cancel your reservation.
13% Cayman Islands tourist tax will be added to the total rental cost. This is not included in the initial quote & will be added after booking is accepted. This is carried out by us sending you a "special offer" which has the 13% added to the quoted nightly price.
Unlike hotels and resorts, we do not charge extra resort or cleaning fees.
We do not allow pets or smoking in our home.
Because this is residential community, peace and quiet is appreciated.
