We love this space and are happy to lend it to you temporarily!

The living area has all you need for a relaxing stay: comfortable leather sofa and ottoman, huge 65 inch Samsung 4K TV, Playstation 3 to watch DVDs on or play games, 6 seater dining table and 6 suede chairs.

Grab some excellent West End takeaway or you can cook up a storm using our entirely newly renovated kitchen which has all the mod cons and stainless steel appliances. The stove top is an Omega Induction cook top - it's terrific for cooking food fabulously fast. The oven is fan-forced electric and does a great job on anything you throw at it. The Bosch dishwasher is easy to use and cleans well. We'll leave the cupboard stocked with cooking oil and sauces and a lots of herbs and spices so you'd mostly just need to buy fresh ingredients for cooking.

The complex has a pool on absolute river frontage - so swimming offers million dollar views! The pool is not heated but does get a lot of sun through out the day so depending on how tough you are you'll be able to swim for most of the year.

You can sit down on the grass by the river bank beside the pool enjoying the river view.

We have a large glass study desk for working on with a comfortable office chair or an ergonomic kneeling chair if you prefer. You can use the 2 monitors to hook your laptop up (if we're lucky with cords/adapters).

You can use the Nespresso machine and we'll supply a small amount of free coffee pods. If you drink a lot of coffee you may wish to bring your own pods. Otherwise, there is plenty of instant coffee and a selection of teas.

You may wish to eat breakfast at one of the West End cafes, but if you can't last we'll likely always have some cereal in the cupboard and long life milk, just help yourself. Or you could grab something at the corner shop (just around the corner). We have a 4 slice toaster, too.

We have quiet, reverse-cycle air-conditioners in both the master bedroom and the living area so you will find you can make the temperature be perfect throughout the unit whether it is winter or summer.

The master king bedroom has lots of built-in wardrobe hanging space and drawers and a large ironing board and iron. The built-in wardrobes have full length mirrors.

There are plenty of fresh towels in the hallway cupboard plus additional blankets for more warmth.

The hot water is gas heated so you won't run out.

There is a cross-trainer which faces the river and our massive new TV so there's really no excuse not to have a bit of a workout whilst you're entertained... although we understand if you just plonk down on the sofa instead!

Free wifi of course.

Other Things to Note:
The unit is in a state of unfinished renovations. Please understand there will be skirting boards missing, some untidy paint, marks on the wall, partially completed ceilings, missing tiles in the shower and other unfinished parts to the unit. We do, however, make sure the unit is clean for your stay and very presentable within these limitations. The upside of renovations is a BRAND new kitchen with all modern luxury stainless steel appliances. The bathroom is yet to be done, hence, it is probably the most unsightly of all the rooms at the moment. However, it is still clean and fully functional. The living room is almost finished being re-floored but the inside balcony still has the original tiles so doesn't present as well as we'd like. We have also stored the remaining flooring around the side of the inside balcony - mostly out of sight - but we're just trying to be 100% transparent about how the unit will present to you.

You will have access to the master bedroom.
It's a 2 bedroom unit but you will have access to the master bedroom only - because we need the second bedroom for storage purposes.
If you're driving you will need to park on the street as we don't have a garage available. You can usually always find a car park on our street - but if it is extra busy you will get a park on the very next street.

Finally, the pool has a blue net over the top of its fence. This is to keep the ducks out. It is a bit daggy and we would prefer it didn't have the net, but the body corporate has decided the mess ducks make is worse than the sight of netting.

You may use any of the bathroom products you discover, or anything in the kitchen.

Feel free to do your laundry here with our washing machine and dryer. There will usually be laundry detergent for use, but please keep the bathroom door shut to keep the moisture contained to the bathroom.

Enjoy any of the DVDs or Playstation 3 games you'll find behind the bar but please try not to scratch them as we'd still like to enjoy them when we return.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Anna was very welcoming and had a great sense of humour when showing us around. Despite the almost completed renovations it felt like a cosy home away from home, especially relaxing on the couch with the nice river views. We were sad to leave at the end of our stay!

We had a wonderful time at Anna's place. Quite possibly my best stay in Brisbane (and I stay there quite often) Anna was really welcoming and we were made to feel at home immediately. The apartment is wonderful, it had everything we needed and it so conveniently located. We would definitely come back to stay.

The unit is clean and well presented, but although the small renovations are not complete, that did not in any way diminish the good time we had. The area is very quiet and very well located. Although we had a car for the holiday, the public transport close to Anna's place is fantastic. The bus and ferry are 100 metres from the unit. Tips - Be warned though if you want to buy a GoCard on the ferry, you must have cash. The restaurants in Hardgrave Street are excellent, but I would recommend not to drive, but to get the 199 bus which goes every 15 mins and both bus stops (there and back) are directly outside the restaurants. We went to QPAC one night and again the bus is the best way to get there and back

Anna is a very friendly and accomodating person. I had to change my arrival time to 2 hours earlier and she was very accomodating. Very niece and beautiful place.

My partner and I had a fantastic time while staying at Anna's place. Anna was very helpful with explaining how everything around the place worked and was also very quick to reply to text messages. We were very comfortable at the unit and the place had everything we could need. It was very easy to relax there with the comfortable furniture, great technology and amazing view. The renovation was no trouble at all. The unit was an ideal spot for getting around as there is a bus stop and a wharf right around the corner. My partner and i will definitely consider coming back if we decide to stay in the city again.

Anna gave a very accurate description of the unit with works that were being done. The unit is a great size with everything you could want. Literally the unit has everything to make your stay very comfortable Excellent position means you can walk to the centre of west end should you wish, or walk a few yards round the corner to a bus or the citycat! Would be a great place to be in the summer with the pool. Lovely view of the river.

This is a great place to stay. The location, kitchen and huge screen modern up to date with technology television are fantastic. The ongoing renovations are not a problem with the functionality of the unit in any way. Anna was a great host - very helpful and quick at responding to my booking.
