The place was great, loved the building style and colour. Felt like we were staying in some European place. The only issue is that its near to the road and we can here the road noise when we sit out in the morning or evening. The plum cake is a must try over here we just loved it.

The place is very scenic although small, gives a homely feeling. Staff is very friendly and helpful! Breakfast menu although limited, the food is very tasty!

A great place to stay if you want everything in close proximity yet a cosy, european style accommodation with a fantastic team of staff.

We stayed for 2 nights and loved the ambiance, service, room and Thekaddy/Kumily. I traveled with my mother and this being our first trip to Kerala, I believe our visit to Kumily made our stay complete although due to low tide and few boats we were unable to visit the Periyar National Park by boat which was on our bucket list, however, our stay at this B&B more than made up for it. This property is right off the main road, and next to it are eateries and shops that are tourist friendly. We ate at the Spice Village and the Ambadi. Both meals were fairly alright, nothing exceptional but nothing off either. Both these places are near the B&B - the Spice Village by CGH Earth is literally next door! The Wildernest B&B has lovely, friendly and super efficient staff with smiling faces and who are always on their toes to look after the place and help the guest. The property is beautiful with vertical plantations on the walls and a tree in the center of the premises, just off the reception. The B&B were so considerate to give us a room on the ground floor, which they kept for us so thoughtfully and without a prompt as they were concerned about my mother climbing the stairway to the other rooms in the B&B. It's a B&B which looks like a mini resort. They even left us an umbrella by the door as it was raining a few times. The reception shares the other half of the entry area with their restaurant. The restaurant looks lovely and has a European touch - wooden benches can comfortable seat at least 4-5 groups without any space hassles. The B&B serves amazing continental breakfast, with a choice of tea or coffee, fresh croissants, toast, eggs made to order, homemade banana jam, jack fruit and pineapple juice, fresh fruit like bananas and pineapple slices. Their mosaic print crockery suits the mood of the place, which has rock walls, water colored bird paintings spread across the entry area. Other than the breakfast that's a treat as it's part of the tariff, they serve really good plum cake on the menu for a nominal fee, so please do try it :) Our stay was comfortable - we stayed in Room No. 3, it had a private sit out, mosquito net french windows that open half way and are divided by wooden frames. The room has light colored wooden furniture - a twin seated cushioned sofa, twin beds, a TV, a cupboard with extra blankets and a dressing table with a chair. There are enough plug points in the room. The bathroom was spacious with good sanitary provisions and a large wash basin. The only room for improvement lies in the shower - the water force was very poor and the hot water was warm the first day and cold the second day. I understand that it's a hilly area and water facility must be a...
