I'm so sorry that you felt unwelcome. That was not our intention. We are wedding planners and worked a 12-hour day at a wedding the day you arrived and didn't return home until after 11pm. Unfortunately, unlike a true B&B, we are not always available to greet our guests, hence the self-check-in (and out) instructions that I sent you. My husband did meet you briefly in the evening in the hallway as you exited the restroom, however, and introduced himself. We had had a long day and it was after 11pm so I'm sorry if he didn't engage in a lengthy conversation with you. In the morning, we were folding laundry in the living room so I'm sorry if you felt that was "untidy" but housework is a necessity. I must not have heard you departing otherwise I would have said Goodbye. My mistake. The spaces that you rented were tidy and clean when you arrived. Again, I'm so sorry that you had a negative experience and hope that your future Air BnB stays are more up to your standards.
