À propos de ce logement
Panoramic ocean views in safe, secure & quiet gated community near La Fonda and Mexico's Napa - Valle de Guadalupe - easy access to Ensenada, Rosarito, Puerto Nuevo, Popotla and El Salto.
The bottom floor is all you. The huge terrace offers sweeping ocean views with a succulent garden, fire-pit, disc golf, chipping tee, darts & hammocks. The bed / linens are comfy. Mini-fridge & grill to use too.
I've lived in La Mision a while & can advise on food, hiking, wineries, breweries & all Baja.
Is freshly renovated with a comfy queen size beds in both rooms and plenty of patio space to lounge and take in the ocean view.
Clean, high thread count linens, top quality coffee, complimentary adult beverages to welcome you, a stellar selection of reading material and lots of games (indoor, outdoor, board, card, darts and everything in between) are included.
You'll have a large private bathroom and hot shower as well.
The primary room is decked out for comfort, the secondary room is designed for fun (although it does have a comfy bed).
We have board games, backgammon, UNO, playing cards and -- NOW - a 9ft shuffle board table in the 2nd room.
We have a custom table and hammocks on the terrace for your use. We also have a small grill and fridge + a dartboard and an area to shag golf balls.
The apartment comes equipped with everything you need - french press and drip coffee maker + fresh gourmet coffee, huge bowl of fresh fruit, unlimited agua pura, corkscrew and silverware, fresh linens with extra pillows and blankets, fans and a space heater and - most importantly - a mini fridge pre-stocked with tequila and local craft brews (gratis).
Accès des voyageurs
The bottom floor has an apartment - two rooms separated by a bathroom. That's yours exclusively.
The second room - with a queen bed - is a game room (backgammon, cards, monopoly, cards against humanity, shuffleboard table, dart board, golf tee + target & putting machine). Your bottom floor has its own terrace with a table and hammocks for lounging and taking in the ocean views.
You can also access the ridge and coastal scrub landscape which starts about 100 yards from the house. The landscape nearby offers some good, but not too strenuous hiking, plenty of unique succulents and birds of prey soaring within easy eye-shot.
Beach access - to multiple beaches - is just a short drive (or a long walk) away.

If you have questions about where to eat, drink, shop or need assistance with anything at all we are right upstairs and happy to help. We enjoy talking to our guests. If you invite me for a beer I'll take you up on the offer.
Of course, if you prefer complete privacy and no interaction with us - other than getting the key - we're happy to accommodate.
There's NO KITCHEN. If you're coming here to cook your own food you're doing it wrong. Enjoy some of the best food in the world located all around you - please.
We're here to help make your stay as great as we can. We've traveled a lot and know the importance of a welcoming host and a clean room.
Please check the listing for very detailed directions to the house. It's not hard to find, but I understand that some folks are like me - terrible with directions - and need as much detail as possible. We try to provide that.
We run a pretty tight ship, but this is Mexico and sometimes things are not quite as smooth as the States. If anything goes astray I'll fix it immediately - just let me know the problem no matter how big or small - and we'll be on it.
We're pretty chill and easy to get along with. I'm not big into "rules" so just act right and we'll be good.
Smoking allowed on the terrace. Again, just be respectful for future guests, the neighbors + the space and we'll get along fine.
Understand a couple of things - (A) you're getting the bottom floor - not the whole house. It's completely separate from where we live. (B) There's NO kitchen - just a grill, fridge and coffee maker. If you want to cook just ask me and we'll let you use our kitchen assuming you like dogs. There will be 3 big ones at your feet.
It's helpful - so I can be available to meet and greet - if you could provide an approximate check-in time when booking. Of course, stuff happens, but a check-in window is nice to know.
If you need any special considerations please let me know in advance. Same for recommendations on activities, restaurants, etc...
If you want transport to and from Valle Guadalupe I can usually arrange it - with advance notice - for a good bit cheaper than options you'll see online. Typically, it's much easier to arrange if you are cool with allowing the driver to chauffeur you in your car.
I spent most of my adult life in Atlanta after graduating from Auburn University and ~4+ years living abroad in Prague, Guatemala and Costa Rica.
Love to travel, especially in Central America and around Mexico. I have special interest in Mayan sites and have visited 20+. We try to learn as much of the local history and culture as possible wherever we go - clearly music, local art and food are a big part of the local narrative so we place emphasis on finding the best local restaurants/wineries/breweries in each stop.
We do the same in Baja Norte and are actively exploring the vibrant food and wine scene that has developed in the area - especially in Valle de Guadalupe. The food and wine here are amazing and worth the trip alone.
I'm a grown-up kid and have set up the house & your space with plenty of distractions that reflect that. Golf, disc golf, horseshoes, shuffleboard table, board games, cards and darts all await you if you book and me when you don't.
