À propos de ce logement
Sunny room with stunning views over the Firth of Forth, to Edinburgh, East Lothian and out to sea, within a charming flat located over two floors of a building over 150 years old. Located 2 mins from the train station with very regular trains going South to Edinburgh or North towards Perth, Dundee and beyond, making it an excellent accomodation option for festival goers, coastal path walkers and Scotland adventurers. The beach is a stone's throw away and local amenities are on the doorstep.
Our home is full of warmth, art and many wonderful views over the water. This guest room is the sunniest room in the house with 2 magnificent windows. We love plants and have many succulents and other exotic greenery around the house. Our garden is our own private patch of the universe and has a meandering path down to a summer house. On fine days our guests are more than welcome to use the garden as they like. We love to cook so our kitchen is always well stocked with herbs, spices and many condiments. We have a large range stove and we welcome our guests to have full access to use the kitchen as they like. All we ask is that it is left tidy for us to enjoy too.
Accès des voyageurs
Guests will have this private room as well as open access to our two bathrooms, kitchen, dining room and garden. Our home is up a flight of stairs in a heritage listed building so unfortunately there is no wheelchair access.

We value your privacy as and ours. As we live here, we will usually be on hand if you need anything.
Our home is Situated with a view to Kinghorn beach and Edinburgh across the Firth of Forth and within minutes walk of the Fife Coastal Trail. Edinburgh is 35 minutes by train and Kirkcaldy (main town) is 3 miles away.
Kinghorn is home to one of the many golf courses between Edinburgh and St Andrews, making it an ideal spot for a golfing adventure.
During the Edinburgh Festival, our location is ideal for those wanting easy access by train to all that the festival has to offer whilst being able to retreat to a peaceful location to recharge the batteries. The very best of both worlds.
Kinghorn has recently become home to a lovely French Masseuse who we can't recommend highly enough. Flora and and her services can be found up at the Loch and online here:

Hello! We are Alice, Emily and Pogue (the pooch). We are a couple and have been living in Kinghorn for one year. Alice works for the NHS and Emily is an artist. We can be usually found spending time with a friend or two, or at home relaxing. We love getting out and about exploring. If it involves a tent, we are definitely in! We’ve been pretty fortunate ladies and have managed to do a fair whack of travelling and would love to do more. Our friends are very important to us: we love them dearly indeed. We very much appreciate time to ourselves but are social creatures who prefer to share experiences with great people. We are pretty easygoing but won´t tolerate bullshitters. We have an awesome dog who we love WAY too much! We like honest straightforward people who are aware that they have a brain and like to use it. We appreciate random acts of kindness and generally prefer that folk treat each other with respect and dignity.
Our home is a haven & we ask that guests respect our privacy. Emily works from home in her studio, so we do ask that guests do not bring other people back to our place. We love having people in our home and welcome guests to treat the space like their own.
